Don’t lose track of the flock.
Don’t lose track of the flock.
English Standard Version Chapter 3
So neither he who plants nor he who waters is anything, but only God who gives the growth.
If anyone’s work is burned up, he will suffer loss, though he himself will be saved, but only as through fire.
Do you not know that you are God’s temple and that God’s Spirit dwells in you? If anyone destroys God’s temple, God will destroy him. For God’s temple is holy, and you are that temple.
Lord, Thank you. For all you do, for all you're doing in me.
We are the Planters and the water givers Lord. But you are the Son that gives the growth to all believers.
May we be the planters whose seeds grow deep roots? And may the soil be fertile with your word.
Lord God, you are the foundation. And we are held accountable for what we build on that. Whether it be filled with sin and greed; things that burn up is up to us. Your word says, if we build the house with worldliness it will burn, yet we will still be saved, but only through fire.
Oh God, protect us from such Folly. You are the Builder of the foundation Lord.
May the Sheep that we
Have shepherded go into your house and not go astray.
And may the house that is built on the foundation you laid, be a a house built by your people and for your people, may it be built with the nails that were driven into your hands and feet and by the wood of your glorious Cross. So that everyone stays in the house safe from the enemy. Who cannot step foot over the threshold, Lest he burn up himself, Lord. I'm a living example of this God. I have shepherded and boasted, but lead my sheep into folly that I joined them in. And I have been burned and saved by it. Thank you for this answer. That I needed for today and for my life.
I pray for our circumstances, Lord. Be merciful. Be gracious. Help me. Give me Grace, give me peace. And provide abundantly Lord with this job and a home. And as I learn the important lessons that you have to teach me, keep using me as your vessel, And may I be a vessel that invests In your kingdom like one who is a steward instead of one who is plain stupid.
It is in your glorious name, Jesus Christ, that I pray all these things. Amen.
