Ephesians 4:1 NLT

Therefore I, a prisoner for serving the Lord, beg you to lead a life worthy of your calling, for you have been called by God.

A Calling is an invitation-

to urgently invite someone to accept responsibilities for a particular task, implying a new relationship to the one who does the calling—‘to call, to call to a task.’

2 Thessalonians 2:14 NLT

He called you to salvation when we told you the Good News; now you can share in the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ.

John 15:16 NLT

You didn’t choose me. I chose you. I appointed you to go and produce lasting fruit, so that the Father will give you whatever you ask for, using my name.

1. The Call of God is the Word of God-

The Call of God comes from word of God-

Acts 22:21 NLT

“But the Lord said to me, ‘Go, for I will send you far away to the Gentiles!’ ”

When you go according to the word of God you will succeed-

Stand on the Word

Speak the Word

Walk according to the word

Isaiah 55:10–11 ESV

“For as the rain and the snow come down from heaven and do not return there but water the earth, making it bring forth and sprout, giving seed to the sower and bread to the eater, so shall my word be that goes out from my mouth; it shall not return to me empty, but it shall accomplish that which I purpose, and shall succeed in the thing for which I sent it.

I asked God for a Word- and I launched out based on the Word I received

2. The calling of God comes with the anointing of God

The anointing is the manifest presence and power of God

God told Joshua 1:9

This is my command—be strong and courageous! Do not be afraid or discouraged. For the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.”

The call of God over your life comes with the promise of God being with you- You are going to succeed

3 The Call of God is What causes you to succeed

Paul Ends up in a fortress being protected from His own countrymen and Jesus once again speaks to Him

That night the Lord appeared to Paul and said, “Be encouraged, Paul. Just as you have been a witness to me here in Jerusalem, you must preach the Good News in Rome as well.”

4. The call of God Comes from Divine Encounter

Esther 4:14 NLT
