Philippians 3:10–11 ESV
10 that I may know him and the power of his resurrection, and may share his sufferings, becoming like him in his death, 11 that by any means possible I may attain the resurrection from the dead.

đŸ™ŒđŸŸ INTRODUCTION: FACEBOOK MARKETPLACE AND FUNNY COFFINS

(Casual tone, inviting laughter, then shift into meaning)
“Some time ago, I was scrolling through Facebook Marketplace
And y’all—it’s like a digital yard sale, where everybody’s selling everything from couches to crockpots. But then
I saw something that stopped me mid-scroll. A coffin
for sale. And the description said: ‘Gently used for six months. We just decided to go a different route.’ Now I don’t know who decided to switch burial plans, but let me tell you—I didn’t buy it! Because when you’ve been buried that long
most folks say it’s a done deal.”
“But I came to tell somebody today—what looks like a done deal to man, is a setup for resurrection in God.”

đŸ’„ POINT I: RESURRECTION POWER BRINGS DEAD THINGS TO LIFE

“Paul didn’t say, ‘I just want to know about Him.’ He said—‘I want to know Him and the power of His resurrection!’ Not just on Sunday. Not just in a hymn. Not just in a Bible class— But in the classroom, in the hospital room, in the break room at work
 in the struggle.”
“He got up
with ALL power in His hands! Power over what?
Over death
Over darkness
Over depression
Over disease
Over every demon that tried to destroy you!”
“He got up—so I could get through. He got up—so my sin could sit down. He got up—so death could shut up!”
“Jesus didn’t roll the stone away so He could get out— He rolled it away so you could look in and see what victory looks like!”

🗣 CALL & RESPONSE MOMENT:

“Have you ever had a moment that felt like the end? A breakup? A betrayal? A diagnosis? A loss? Something that felt final?”
“But the resurrection says: IT AIN’T OVER.” *“The tomb was supposed to be the end—but God said, ‘I’m just getting started.’”

🔗 POINT II: RESURRECTION POWER BREAKS THE POWER OF SIN

“Romans 6:14 says—‘Sin shall no longer have dominion over you.’ You were born in sin—but you don’t have to stay in it. You were shaped in iniquity—but you’ve been resurrected in identity!”
“Before Christ, we were like a bird in a net—alive but not free. But now? Now we can soar. Free from guilt. Free from addiction. Free from shame!”

đŸ”„ POINT III: RESURRECTION POWER GIVES STRENGTH IN SUFFERING

“Paul said it plain—I want to know the power of His resurrection AND the fellowship of His sufferings. Resurrection power ain’t just about coming out—it’s also about holding on. It’s power in the middle of the storm, not just after the storm.”
“A young mother once told me after losing her child: ‘I’ve never felt more of God’s presence than in my pain.’ That’s resurrection power—not just to remove suffering, but to walk you through it!”
“Tell someone next to you: This storm didn’t come to drown me. It came to prove there’s resurrection in me.”

POINT IV: RESURRECTION POWER CHANGES YOUR IDENTITY

“If anyone be in Christ—He is a new creation. Old things passed away
everything becomes new. You ain’t who you used to be!”
“Saul was a murderer—but God met him on the Damascus road. By the time He got up, Saul became Paul. His identity didn’t just change—it resurrected.”
“You are not your past. You are not your mistakes. You are not what they called you—you are what God raised you to be!”

🔌 POINT V: RESURRECTION POWER IS FOR TODAY

“Romans 8:11 says—If the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead lives in you
Then YOU got that power too!”
“Some of us are walking around like a phone with a dead battery. Close to the source
but not plugged in. God didn’t just give you His Spirit for decoration. He gave it for activation!”

🎯 CONCLUSION: BECAUSE HE GOT UP
I DON’T HAVE TO GIVE UP

“The tomb is empty—so your hope don’t have to be. The stone is rolled away—so your heart don’t have to stay heavy. If Jesus got up from the grave
Then your joy can get up. Your peace can get up. Your faith can get up!”

đŸ”„ FINAL CALL TO ACTION

“You don’t need more religion. You don’t need more hustle. You don’t need more self-help. You need resurrection power. Not someday. Not some year. But RIGHT NOW.”

📌 STICKY STATEMENT:

“Because He got up
I don’t have to give up.”

🗣 ALTAR MOMENT:

“If you’re here today and something in you has felt dead—your purpose, your joy, your hope— The same power that raised Jesus is available to you.” “Come and plug back into that power. Don’t leave here empty. Don’t leave here bound. Don’t leave here hopeless.”
