All the good we do is and should be to bring people to Jesus

Stick with someone - “Stick with someone” means to be loyal or supportive of that person, especially during difficult times. It can also mean to stay near someone for guidance or protection.
Matthew 21:1–11 “1 Now when they drew near to Jerusalem and came to Bethphage, to the Mount of Olives, then Jesus sent two disciples, 2 saying to them, “Go into the village in front of you, and immediately you will find a donkey tied, and a colt with her. Untie them and bring them to me. 3 If anyone says anything to you, you shall say, ‘The Lord needs them,’ and he will send them at once.” 4 This took place to fulfill what was spoken by the prophet, saying, 5 “Say to the daughter of Zion, ‘Behold, your king is coming to you, humble, and mounted on a donkey, on a colt, the foal of a beast of burden.’ ” 6 The disciples went and did as Jesus had directed them. 7 They brought the donkey and the colt and put on them their cloaks, and he sat on them. 8 Most of the crowd spread their cloaks on the road, and others cut branches from the trees and spread them on the road. 9 And the crowds that went before him and that followed him were shouting, “Hosanna to the Son of David! Blessed is he who comes in the name…”

Welcome Him in the good times

The beginning is fun and exciting. Those are welcoming times. Jesus is doing miracles and everything is good.

Stick with Him in the hard/bad times

Jesus is arrested and the disciples flee, don’t be like the disciples, stick with Him.
Matthew 26:52–56 “52 Then Jesus said to him, “Put your sword back into its place. For all who take the sword will perish by the sword. 53 Do you think that I cannot appeal to my Father, and he will at once send me more than twelve legions of angels? 54 But how then should the Scriptures be fulfilled, that it must be so?” 55 At that hour Jesus said to the crowds, “Have you come out as against a robber, with swords and clubs to capture me? Day after day I sat in the temple teaching, and you did not seize me. 56 But all this has taken place that the Scriptures of the prophets might be fulfilled.” Then all the disciples left him and fled.”

Obey Him in the uncertain/scary times

They went to the mountain that Jesus told them and they worshipped Him but some doubted. Also they went to the upper room and tarried.
Matthew 28:16–20 “16 Now the eleven disciples went to Galilee, to the mountain to which Jesus had directed them. 17 And when they saw him they worshiped him, but some doubted. 18 And Jesus came and said to them, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. 19 Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.””

Never abandoning Him

Peter told Jesus the he would go with Him to prison or death…he made that promise before he was able to keep it. Be like Peter, want to before you are able too! Then spend the rest of your life living to keep the promise.
I wonder if Peter knew he couldn’t keep that promise?
Luke 22:33 “33 Peter said to him, “Lord, I am ready to go with you both to prison and to death.””
