Opening Scripture:

Genesis 21:1–3 NLT
The Lord kept his word and did for Sarah exactly what he had promised. She became pregnant, and she gave birth to a son for Abraham in his old age. This happened at just the time God had said it would. And Abraham named their son Isaac.
God had promised Abraham at the age of 75 that He was going to make his descendants as numerous as the stars in the sky
When Abraham who told his wife Sarah what the Lord had said she laughed to only have God ask her why she laughed?
Sarah was so full of doubt that she talked Abraham sleeping with his concubine to have a child who was named Ishmael
When Sarah gave birth to Isaac she was 90 years old and Abraham was 100 years old..
We often times put a time stamp on what God has promised us…
We MUST understand that God doesn’t work on our time He works on His time BUT He is NEVER LATE!

If God said it He will do it!

Isaiah 55:10–11 NLT
“The rain and snow come down from the heavens and stay on the ground to water the earth. They cause the grain to grow, producing seed for the farmer and bread for the hungry. It is the same with my word. I send it out, and it always produces fruit. It will accomplish all I want it to, and it will prosper everywhere I send it.
God’s word will NEVER fail!
God’s word will always come into fruition — IT will NEVER return to Him empty or unfulfilled
When God makes us a promise He will ALWAYS see it through
The promise may get delayed because of our Lack of Faith
The promise may get delayed because God is allowing our Faith to be tested in order to strengthen our faith
Often times because of the size of the promise we feel that its impossible for it to happen in our lives..
We must always remember that the bigger the blessing, the bigger the promise, the more we need God to fulfill it
God gives us promises and visions that only HE can bring into reality
Will you trust God?

Always Present — NEVER Alone!

Matthew 28:20 NLT
Teach these new disciples to obey all the commands I have given you. And be sure of this: I am with you always, even to the end of the age.”
When Jesus commissioned us to make disciples and teach them He reminds us that we can be confident that He is with us ALWAYS!
Often times we can feel so lonely in life because we have fallen into the trap that society has laid out in front of us…
Society says if we are single that we should be lonely… If we don’t have a certain number of friends we should feel lonely…
While we have a desire for fellowship we should always know that Jesus is always with us
In the times we feel alone we should make the effort to get more into the presence of God through prayer, the word, and even worship
God may be keeping people distant from you so that you will draw closer to Him.
Even when people disappoint us… Even when people fail us… Even when people depart from us .. God is always present

Made To Be Faithful

Matthew 5:48 NLT
But you are to be perfect, even as your Father in heaven is perfect.
Jesus call us to perfection that can only be successfully obtained through a relationship with Him and complete surrendered to Him
Apart of the Father’s perfection is His faithfulness to us
God constantly test our faithfulness through situations that we are presented with in life
Have you ever been placed in a position where you were give a decision to uphold a promise that you knew you didn’t intend on keeping?
God even tests our faithfulness things in the small things — the things that we feel are to small for us
There is NOTHING to small that God can’t expand and turn it into something great!
As the bible reminds us Don’t despise humbled beginnings but instead embrace them by faith
How can you display God’s faithfulness in your life today?
