Matthew 28 ESV
Now after the Sabbath, toward the dawn of the first day of the week, Mary Magdalene and the other Mary went to see the tomb. And behold, there was a great earthquake, for an angel of the Lord descended from heaven and came and rolled back the stone and sat on it. His appearance was like lightning, and his clothing white as snow. And for fear of him the guards trembled and became like dead men. But the angel said to the women, “Do not be afraid, for I know that you seek Jesus who was crucified. He is not here, for he has risen, as he said. Come, see the place where he lay. Then go quickly and tell his disciples that he has risen from the dead, and behold, he is going before you to Galilee; there you will see him. See, I have told you.” So they departed quickly from the tomb with fear and great joy, and ran to tell his disciples. And behold, Jesus met them and said, “Greetings!” And they came up and took hold of his feet and worshiped him. 10 Then Jesus said to them, “Do not be afraid; go and tell my brothers to go to Galilee, and there they will see me.” 11 While they were going, behold, some of the guard went into the city and told the chief priests all that had taken place. 12 And when they had assembled with the elders and taken counsel, they gave a sufficient sum of money to the soldiers 13 and said, “Tell people, ‘His disciples came by night and stole him away while we were asleep.’ 14 And if this comes to the governor’s ears, we will satisfy him and keep you out of trouble.” 15 So they took the money and did as they were directed. And this story has been spread among the Jews to this day. 16 Now the eleven disciples went to Galilee, to the mountain to which Jesus had directed them. 17 And when they saw him they worshiped him, but some doubted. 18 And Jesus came and said to them, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. 19 Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”

PRAYER.

(Share something about GF at the amp.) posteaster realizations… what are we to do? If Jesus is alive - where does an empty tomb leave us with?
let’s take our lead from the disciples…. The resurrection has become apparent. They have believed.
But they quickly are made aware by Jesus…
It’s not time to go back to fishing.
Your now GOOD to go.
Approved unto GOD.
The stamp of approval has been given. it means total and complete freedom to live out, and go about the great commission.

Title: “GOOD TO GO”

I wonder if you realize today that in Jesus you are NOW approved to be doing his work?
We’re good to go…not good to stay THE GREAT COMMISSION IS THE GREAT PERMISSION.
Permission to add someone approved undo. The work is prepared for us to. You’re good to go
Good to go
Go where?not sure. But what do know is that I’m good to GO!
Wherever HE SAYS TO GO?
I don’t understand what if I misunderstand still means that you’re good to go Doesn’t mean that you’re gonna get it right doesn’t mean that you’re gonna walk the right path every time
Doesn’t mean that you’re gonna say everything perfectly The whole spirit is there for a reason…. He’ll be the best guide ever if you ask him to guide you?
And the good news is we don’t go as people unsent.
Ghost people are gone and given the Holy Spirit
Some of you may be stuck in your faith today because you’ stuck in the outbox unsent. the stamp of approval is on you to live out what it is that Jesus died for
It means now…. You are: 1.Good toGO.
How can you never go 7nless you are sent?
If you aren’t sent,
if you’re sent… what are you waiting for?

another way to say it? YOU ARE NOW…SAVED AND CALLED.

The apostle Call when he was instructing his young child Timothy this is what he said. He said you were saved and called.
We’re saved FOR A UNIQUE AND HOLY PURPOSE TO DO WHAT GOD CALLED US TO DO TO TAKE UP OUR PART OF THE GREAT COMMISSION WHICH IS TO GO INTO ALL THE WORLD MAKE DISCIPLES.
SO WHAT DOES THAT LOOK LIKE?
HOW CAN YOU MAKE THE RESURRECTION COUNT IN YOUR OWN LIFE?

1.Believe & Become

We become believers
Over 100people on Friday night became believers in Jesus.
Believe….and be baptized.
That was the pattern on the early church!
So it should be ours also.
Become what? Become a disciple. That means you are trained I
Under the leadership of the Lord and the Church.
That means that you are submitted to the authority of the church and you walk in the ways of Jesus because you have been showing what that looks like We don’t become disciples on accident as an actual intentional process that we need to go through as disciples to become the disciples we’re meant to be discipleship. Is it a mistake or an error or happens by accident?
It’s a real thing: the early church was completely committed to the apostles teaching.
just time and time again Disciples show up
Disciples give
Disciples serve Disciples show up the body comes together
Disciples pray Disciples seek to do the of Jesus in every to walk closely and not a distance

3. Go &Make.

The pinnacle of discipleship is when you cross over and you actually begin to make other disciples. Your life start to have such an influence on other lives that the church now looks to you as someone that is now equipped to be able to equip other. And the beauty of it is, if you’re ready to make disciples that you can start right away
Disciple makers lead by example Disciple makers step out in faith and lead other
Disciple makers initiate in all things relating to walking Disciple makers are confident and their identity in the gospel
We are made disciples
We make disciples.
