1. How do people properly worship God? (Rom 12:1)
By presenting their bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God.
2. What is the most reasonable response to God’s great mercy? (Rom 12:1-2)
That we present our bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God, and not be conformed to this world, to be transformed by the renewing of our mind, so that we can discern what is the good, pleasing, and perfect will of God.
3. How is the Christian to be different from unbelieving people? (Rom 12:2)
Christians are not conformed to this world, they are being transformed by the renewing of our mind, so that they can discern what is the good, pleasing, and perfect will of God. Unbelieving people are conformed, shaped by this world, they are unable to be transformed and renew their minds, and they are unable to discern what is the good, pleasing, and perfect will of God.
4. How should the mind of a Christian be changed? (Rom 12:2)
Through the study and meditation on the Word of God, prayer, worship, and obedience to the Holy Spirit.
5. What must happen in order for a person to discern and agree with the will of God? (Rom 12:2)
Reject being conformed to the world, allow the work of the Holy Spirit to transform us through obedience to the word of God, regular reading and studying the word of God, and prayer.
6. How should Christians think about themselves? (Rom 12:3)
By not thinking more highly of yourself than you ought to, as if you are you are more spiritual than the next person.
Paul is warning believers not to be egotistical. Or as one writer put it not to become a egoholic. Prideful thinking will result in prideful actions. The opposite of that is Humble thinking will result in humble actions. As a believer we must take on the spirit of Jesus Christ who was humble. I read one commentator who open my eyes to what this verse is also saying that I hadn’t considered. And that is Paul is also warning that while we must not think to highly of ourselves, we must not think too low of ourselves either, as if we have no worth, that we are insignificant.
7. What facts should keep a person from feeling superior or inferior to other Christians? (Rom 12:3-6)
We are not to think more highly of ourselves, but to think sensibly (reasonable) because God has given each member of His church a measure of faith, We are all one in the body of Christ, one person isn’t superior to another, and individually members of one another, and by God grace we have been given different gifts.
8. What did Paul use the human body to illustrate? (12:4-5)
That as the body is made up with many parts, all the parts do not have the same function, in the same way we are many in the one body of Christ individually members of one another.
9. What makes Christians different from one another? (12:4-6)
Our spiritual gifts.

All Christians together make up the body of Christ, and each has been given a unique gift to support/build up one another.

Prophesy, service, teaching, exhortation, giving, leading, and mercy. Exhaustive list of gifts 1 Cor 12:5-11.
