Death: Defeated by Christ's Victory

It would seem as if death has all the power and it often gives us the appearance of being sovereign. The death of a loved one, laying them to rest. To our limited mortality, it appears final, but it is not.
While death is an inevitable reality, it is ultimately not sovereign over believers; Christ's victory through His resurrection assures us of eternal life and hope beyond the grave.
Though death is a formidable enemy, it has its limits. Its not forever over the believer. In fact the only part of us that dies is our bodies, not our souls or spirit.
2 Corinthians 4:16 ESV
So we do not lose heart. Though our outer self is wasting away, our inner self is being renewed day by day.
The power of death is found in sin and in the law
1 Corinthians 15:56 ESV
The sting of death is sin, and the power of sin is the law.
1 Corinthians 15:57 ESV
But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.
Unbeliever you have been stung by sin, as we all have. Outside of Christ, your only hope is keeping the law. “I’m a good person” you might say, but in saying so you are putting yourself under the law as your trust. But you are remaining under the power of sin if you do so. The law and your own goodness will condemn you
Acts 2:24 ESV
God raised him up, loosing the pangs of death, because it was not possible for him to be held by it.
There is only one man who sin and death could not hold in the grave. it had no hold over Him . The God man Jesus Christ. God cannot die, but He became a man. He conquered death for us.
The resurrection teaches us as believers we can approach death with confidence and peace, knowing that Jesus has conquered death and promised resurrection to those who trust in Him.
While death may appear powerful, it is not sovereign; Christ reigns triumphant over death, granting life and hope to all who believe in Him.

John 11:25–26 ESV
Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. Whoever believes in me, though he die, yet shall he live, and everyone who lives and believes in me shall never die. Do you believe this?”
When Jesus says I AM this is the personal Name for God used in the Old Testament. Unless you believe Jesus is the Almighty God you will not make it into heaven. Cults out there who deny this are worshipping a different Jesus, and it’s a Jesus that cannot save. I AM also means I am enough I’ve got this covered. I AM your provision at death. The death of a loved one . Your own death, I’ve got them. I’ve got you.
2 Corinthians 5:8 ESV
Yes, we are of good courage, and we would rather be away from the body and at home with the Lord.
The truth is we are gonna die unless the Lord returns before that. We need to trust Him. He died for your sin, but that wont do you any good unless you put your trust in Him. He conquered death for you. but you will be outside of this until you receive this on a personal level
Only the believer can look death in the face with the full assurance of Christ, please don’t delay call upon Christ to save your soul this very day.
2 Timothy 1:12 ESV
which is why I suffer as I do. But I am not ashamed, for I know whom I have believed, and I am convinced that he is able to guard until that day what has been entrusted to me.
