📖 "Proof in the Pit"

Sometimes, God lets you drop just to show He holds you.

A dark place, a deep faith, and a divine rescue.

Title: Untouchable

Subtitle: Faith that Can't Be Moved, Even in the Den

🗣️ Intro Idea:

Set the scene. Daniel’s got haters, but he’s got habits too—holy habits. He’s not out here flexing, but his consistency irritates the insecure. He’s excellent, faithful, and prayed up—and that makes him untouchable, even when life throws him in the pit.

🔥 Point 1: When You Stand Out, You’ll Be Set Up

Text: Daniel 6:3-5

📝 “They could find no corruption in him, because he was trustworthy and neither corrupt nor negligent.”

Daniel’s favor caused friction.

His integrity became a threat.

Faithfulness will attract opposition—but that doesn’t make you vulnerable. It makes you valuable.

Quote: “Don’t dim your light just because it blinds those in darkness.”

🦁 Point 2: What You Practice in Peace Will Protect You in Pressure

Text: Daniel 6:10

📝 “He went home... got down on his knees and prayed, just as he had done before.”

Daniel didn’t start praying when the law changed—he stayed consistent.

His private discipline became his public deliverance.

Key Thought: Consistency builds confidence.

When trouble hits, you don’t rise to the occasion—you default to your preparation.

👑 Point 3: When God Has You, the Pit Can’t Hold You

Text: Daniel 6:21-22

📝 “My God sent his angel, and he shut the mouths of the lions.”

Daniel was thrown down—but not taken out.

God didn’t keep him from the den. He covered him in it.

The same God who lets you walk in is the One who walks with you through.

Punchline: You may be surrounded, but you’re not surrendered. You’re untouchable when you’re under His covering.
