intro and tension

Anzac day on Friday - and the big theme of their service was mateship and nationalism. Gotta love your country so much to lay down your life for it.
Jesus said;
Matthew 4:17 ESV
From that time Jesus began to preach, saying, “Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.”
He died, so that we may enter into a new kingdom, He did it for the nation of Heaven, He did it to bring you home, and as we mourn the soldiers that died for our country, how much more should we show reverence for the one that died from Heaven…for us.
Jesus also said…come to me like a little child.
As we walked around the memorial, and we looked at the wreaths, and the tributes, Katy was with us and said…it’s like Jesus who rose from the grave which gives us hope.
The good news; Jesus died, and resurrected, so that you could have hope, but more than that, so you could enter the kingdom of heaven.
Romans 5:1–2 ESV
Therefore, since we have been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ. Through him we have also obtained access by faith into this grace in which we stand, and we rejoice in hope of the glory of God.
