Colossians 3:18–25 NIV84
18 Wives, submit to your husbands, as is fitting in the Lord. 19 Husbands, love your wives and do not be harsh with them. 20 Children, obey your parents in everything, for this pleases the Lord. 21 Fathers, do not embitter your children, or they will become discouraged. 22 Slaves, obey your earthly masters in everything; and do it, not only when their eye is on you and to win their favor, but with sincerity of heart and reverence for the Lord. 23 Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for men, 24 since you know that you will receive an inheritance from the Lord as a reward. It is the Lord Christ you are serving. 25 Anyone who does wrong will be repaid for his wrong, and there is no favoritism.
Good morning, church! Can you feel the joy of this moment? God has called you to a life of purpose. 1: Discovering Your God-Given Purpose

Colossians 3:23 “23 Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for men,”
Church, every moment of your life is a canvas for God’s masterpiece!
Discovering your God-given purpose means embracing the truth that your work, your relationships, your passions—they’re all part of His glorious plan.
Whether you’re leading a company, teaching kids, or serving coffee, you’re on a divine mission.
Let’s soar by saying, “God, I’m ready to live for You!”

A. Celebrate Your Unique Calling

Psalm 139:14 “14 I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well.”
You’re a one-of-a-kind creation, crafted with purpose!
God didn’t make a mistake when He placed you where you are.
Your talents, your season of life, your opportunities—they’re His design.
Celebrate your calling, whether it’s parenting, creating, or serving.
When you see your life as God’s gift, you’ll soar with purpose, knowing you’re exactly where He wants you!

B. Trust God’s Perfect Plan

Romans 8:28 “28 And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.”
Romans promises that God is weaving every detail of your life for good!
Even in challenges, His plan is unfolding.
Trusting Him lifts your spirit, freeing you to live with confidence.
You’re not wandering—you’re on a path lit by His love.
Embrace His purpose, and let your heart sing, “God, I trust You to lead me higher!”

2. Radiating Excellence with Joy

Paul urges us to work “as working for the Lord” (Col. 3:23). Imagine the thrill of giving your absolute best because Jesus is your audience!
Radiating excellence with joy means infusing every task with passion, love, and integrity, knowing it honors God.
From the smallest chores to the biggest dreams, your excellence lights up the world.
Church, let’s shine so brightly that everyone sees Jesus in us!

A. Pour Your Heart into Every Moment

Ecclesiastes 9:10 “10 Whatever your hand finds to do, do it with all your might, for in the grave, where you are going, there is neither working nor planning nor knowledge nor wisdom.”
Ecclesiastes calls us to seize every opportunity with gusto!
Whether you’re writing a report, helping a neighbor, or praying, do it with all you’ve got.
Your wholehearted effort isn’t just work—it’s worship!
When you radiate joy in the everyday, you reflect God’s glory, and your life becomes a beacon of His love.
Go all in, and soar!

B. Shine with God-Honoring Integrity

Philippians 2:15 “15 so that you may become blameless and pure, children of God without fault in a crooked and depraved generation, in which you shine like stars in the universe”
Philippians invites us to shine like stars through integrity.
Doing the right thing, even when it’s hard, makes your life a radiant testimony.
When you act with honesty, kindness, and excellence, people notice Jesus in you.
Your integrity isn’t just a choice—it’s a legacy that inspires.
Let’s light up the darkness with God’s brilliance!

3. Inspiring Others to Shine

Colossians 3:24 promises an “inheritance from the Lord as a reward.”
Church, our purposeful living isn’t just for us—it’s a gift to the world!
By soaring with excellence, we inspire others to discover their purpose and chase after Jesus.
Every kind word, every faithful act, every bold step ripples into eternity, building a legacy that lifts hearts to God.
Let’s live so that others can’t help but shine for Him too!

A. Bless Others with Love and Service

John 13:34–35 “34 “A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. 35 By this all men will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.””
Jesus says our love is our signature!
Serve others with the same selfless love He showed us—whether it’s encouraging a coworker, feeding the hungry, or listening to a friend.
Your loving service inspires others to see God’s heart.
Every act of kindness plants a seed for eternity, building a legacy of joy.
Love outoud, church!

B. Share Jesus with Bold Joy

Matthew 5:14–16 “14 “You are the light of the world. A city on a hill cannot be hidden. 15 Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house. 16 In the same way, let your light shine before men, that they may see your good deeds and praise your Father in heaven.”
Jesus calls you a light, meant to shine brightly!
Your purposeful life will spark curiosity: “Why are you so joyful?”
Share the answer—Jesus—with bold, contagious joy.
Whether through words, actions, or invitations to church, point others to Him.
Your boldness inspires a chain reaction of faith, creating a legacy that transforms lives forever.
