Letting go of the Fear that is Holding on to you.

Admitted to God, to ourselves, and to another human being the exact nature of our wrongs.

Introduction:

1.We often resist the 5th step because of the fear of man.

Proverbs 29:25 NKJV

25 The fear of man brings a snare, But whoever trusts in the Lord shall be safe.

‘We are only as sick as our secrets”

All of us who are here because of addiction, obsession, or a hang up know that the way we were living before we got her has secrets.

Those things are hurting us.

The fear that comes from being exposed hurts us.

2. Not completing your 5th step allows the lies of the enemy about who you are to stand.

John 8:44 NKJV

44 You are of your father the devil, and the desires of your father you want to do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and does not stand in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaks a lie, he speaks from his own resources, for he is a liar and the father of it.

These are red letters. “The Red Letters” are the words of Jesus.

Jesus Satan is a liar. He has been a liar from the beginning.

He lies about everything.

He lies especially about you!

He lies about the fact that you can handle it.

He lies about the impact it will have.

fear is not a tool that God.

3. Telling someone, is not the same as telling everyone.

someone needs to know everything but everything is not for everyone.
