Here we are told the PARTS that make the Passover:

I. The Instruction Of The Passover. vs.14-20
God gives specific details.
v.14 “ordinance”
v.15 “put away leaven”
v.18 “fourteenth day…until…one and twentieth day”
This is feast of unleavened bread.
In Acts 12:4 we hear Bible critics and correctors declare that “Easter” should be “Passover”
When is the Passover? Exodus 12:6 “fourteenth day” of Abib. (March-April)
When is Easter? June 2. Shapatu of Ishtar. A Pagan festival dedicated to the goddess Ishtar is celebrated every year on this date. She is the ancient Assyrian and Babylonian deity who presides over love and fertility as well as war. (https://paganpages.org/emagazine/2009/06/01/the-days-of-june/)
God gives the words so we will know.

IV. The Complication Of The Passover. vs.31-39
v.38 “mixed multitude”
Mixed multitudes always cause problems:
Genesis 12:4 “So Abram departed, as the LORD had spoken unto him; and Lot went with him: and Abram was seventy and five years old when he departed out of Haran.”
Genesis 12:1 “Now the LORD had said unto Abram, Get thee out of thy country, and from thy kindred, and from thy father’s house, unto a land that I will shew thee:”
Isaiah 51:2 “Look unto Abraham your father, and unto Sarah that bare you: for I called him alone, and blessed him, and increased him.”
Nehemiah 13:3 “Now it came to pass, when they had heard the law, that they separated from Israel all the mixed multitude.”
It was one year later and they still caused problems.
Numbers 11:4 “And the mixt multitude that was among them fell a lusting: and the children of Israel also wept again, and said, Who shall give us flesh to eat?”
(2 Corinthians 6:14-7:1)
God gives us insight into separation.

V. The Completion Of The Passover. vs.40-51
Exodus 12:51 “And it came to pass the selfsame day, that the LORD did bring the children of Israel out of the land of Egypt by their armies.”
God shows us He could then and can now.
