Matt:
“Thank you, You may be seated”
Bride, Groom, family and friends. We are gathered together today, in the presence of God, and in your company, to join together this man, and this woman, in Holy matrimony.
We all should know, and the bride and groom do know, that marriage is not to be entered into lightly or unadvisedly, but reverently.
In a Christian marriage we are to firstly commit our lives to Jesus, and in that commitment follow the scriptural model of marriage.
We must emphasize the importance of what will take place in the uniting of these two people.
Marriage is the foundation of home, life, and social order and must remain forever.

So I ask this question:
Who gives this woman to be married to this man?

Biblical Precedent for Marriage
Biblical Precedent for Marriage
We all have a story, and when we gather for a Christian wedding ceremony, we simply acknowledge that God, those who are present, and those who have gone on before us have touched our lives and made us who we are today.
The Bible is full of reminders that God established the home, and that he gives his blessing to those people who follow the simple guidelines that he has set for us.
We leave our parents and cling to our spouse. We commit ourselves to his or her well being. We remain faithful physically, emotionally, and spiritually to the person whom we have freely chosen to marry.
This is God’s word for those who choose marriage.
Giving Away
Giving Away
For some of you gathered here, this ceremony will prompt a flood of personal memories, for others of you it will set in motion dreams and aspirations.
For me, I see the fruit of Christ’s Church. From our time together in Student Ministry, to today. The way the Lord has shown these two favor is a testament to both His presence and His Love.
For all of us it will be a sharing in a most intimate and love-filled moment in the lives of these two people.
So on behalf of the family I thank you for your presence here today.

Matt:
Brayden do you promise to live with Emily according to God’s purposes?
Do you promise to commit yourself to meeting her needs: physically, emotionally, and spiritually?
Do you promise that, whatever the circumstances, you will love, honor, and sustain her as long as you both shall live?
Brayden:
I do
Matt:
Emily do you promise to live with Brayden according to God’s purposes?
Do you promise to commit yourself to meeting his needs: physically, emotionally, and spiritually?
Do you promise that, whatever the circumstances, you will love, honor, and sustain him as long as you both shall live?
Emily:
I do
Brayden (Can Read, or Repeat after me):
Madelyn, you have been a shining light in our lives since the day you were born, and today, as I marry your mother, I want to promise you something special. As your father, I vow to show you what it means to be a loving Christian husband, father, and man. You will always see me treat your mother with kindness, respect, and unwavering love, reflecting the commitment I make to our family and to God. I promise to guide you, nurture your spirit, and be an example of faith and strength. Always remember, you are our precious treasure, and I will cherish you forever.

Emily (Can Read, or Repeat after me):
Madelyn, today is not only a celebration of love between your father and me, but also a day to honor you, our wonderful daughter. I vow to show you what it means to be a devoted Christian wife, mother, and woman, embodying grace, compassion, and strength in everything I do. I promise to love you fiercely, to encourage your dreams, and to teach you the values that guide us in faith and family. As I stand beside your father, I want you to see a loving partnership—one that reflects God’s love and commitment. Always know that you are cherished, and my love for you is eternal.

The Rings
The Rings
Me:
The ring is like a string around your finger. It reminds you of something.
It is a symbol, a sign. Every time that you see your wedding ring, you will be reminded of the commitment that you made to one another here today
Brayden: take the ring and place it on Emily’s left ring finger and repeat after me.
Brayden (after me): With this ring, I thee wed. Til Death do us part, I’m yours
Emily: take the ring and place it on Brayden’s left ring finger and repeat after me.
Emily: (after me): With this ring, I thee wed. Til Death do us part, I’m yours

The Way of Love
4 Love is patient and kind; love does not envy or boast; it is not arrogant
5 or rude. It does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful;
6 it does not rejoice at wrongdoing, but rejoices with the truth.
7 Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.

Brayden and Emily, since you have committed yourselves to a lifelong love, before God and these witnesses, and since you have agreed to meet the needs of each other as long as you both live. I pronounce you husband and wife. “Therefore what God has joined together, let no one separate.”
Brayden you may kiss your bride.

The Bride and Groom would love to invite you to a reception right across the walk-way. There the Bride and Groom will take part in a Branding Ceremony. The Wedding Branding Ceremony
The act of branding a piece of wood serves as a permanent reminder of the love and bond shared between this couple. Rooted in tradition, branding signifies identity, history, and belonging -values that resonate deeply within the fabric of Marriage
I’ll go ahead and Bless the Food now, and when we make it across, if you would just allow the Wedding Party, and Family to go thru first you that would be appreciated.
