1. Pruning for Greater Fruit

John 15:1-3
Perhaps you might reflect on how Jesus, as the true vine, cleanses and prunes us to bear even greater fruit. This process of pruning symbolizes the ongoing conversion and purification in our lives, achieved through the sacraments and our faithful commitment. Staying connected to Christ, who offers divine nourishment and guidance, is vital for our spiritual growth and the flourishing of the Church.

2. Abiding in the Vine

John 15:4-5
You could consider how abiding in Christ is indispensable for being fruitful members of His Church. Just as the branch cannot bear fruit by itself, we are reminded that without Christ, we can do nothing. Reflect on how this unity strengthens our communion with the Church, allowing us to draw from the vine's grace and life to fulfill our call as disciples.

3. Bearing Fruit to Glorify God

John 15:6-8
Maybe you might emphasize the importance of staying united with Christ to avoid spiritual withering. This passage challenges us to assess our spiritual health and renew our devotion to living in Him. As branches of the vine, when we remain in His love and truth, we glorify God through a life full of virtue and abundant fruits of charity, thus fulfilling our purpose as part of His holy Church.
