TITLE: Partnership in Ministry
TEXT: Romans 15.14-33.
INTRODUCTION:
Right out the gate, you may be thinking: “Seth… I am not in ministry.
My goal today is to convince you otherwise. WE… the body of Christ…the church…the called out ones…WE are partners in ministry together.
The Ministry of Reconciliation
2 Corinthians 5:17–20 ESV
17 Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come. 18 All this is from God, who through Christ reconciled us to himself and gave us the ministry of reconciliation; 19 that is, in Christ God was reconciling the world to himself, not counting their trespasses against them, and entrusting to us the message of reconciliation. 20 Therefore, we are ambassadors for Christ, God making his appeal through us. We implore you on behalf of Christ, be reconciled to God.
If you are in Christ, you are in ministry.
What does it mean to be: Partners?
In considering this idea, the first thought that came to my mind was naturally Will Smith’s Willenium album…Track 11 which is call “Potnas”.
Though the song is full of inspirational lyrics about standing by one another through the good times and bad, I’ll save some time this morning in choosing not to rap it for you all.
I also think of my brother, Zach. He is my only sibling, and we have partnered together in many different things throughout the years. Specifically, we have not lost a disc golf tournament where we were playing together for a joint score.
More importantly, I think of my wife, Logan. We are partners in our marriage and in raising our boys together.
Paul’s Partners in Ministry
Philippians 1:3–5 ESV
3 I thank my God in all my remembrance of you, 4 always in every prayer of mine for you all making my prayer with joy, 5 because of your partnership in the gospel from the first day until now.
Being a partner, according to the word Paul uses in Philippians 2, means having a sense of commonality or shared responsibility among households.
Big Picture:
In the beginning of Romans 15, we saw that the God of endurance and encouragement leads us in Christ through His word to glorify God with one united voice in what we speak and do.
Together, the God of hope fills us with joy and peace through belief in the person and work of Christ who will redeem sinners from all nations to the praise of His glorious grace.
Today I pray we will see…
Main Idea: Our partnership in ministry is a gracious gift from God to be used for gospel proclamation and supporting gospel mission around the world.
Outline:
1. We rejoice with one another in the fruit of ministry (v14)
2. We remind one another the purpose of ministry (v15-19)
3. We remain in pursuit of the lost and unreached in ministry (v20-24)
4. We bless one another generously in ministry (v25-29)
5. We strive together prayerfully in ministry (v30-33)
PRAYER
Romans 15:14 ESV
I myself am satisfied about you, my brothers, that you yourselves are full of goodness, filled with all knowledge and able to instruct one another.

1. We encourage one another in the fruit of ministry (v14)

Paul opens up this section with certain praise for the believers in Rome. Remember that Paul is writing this letter in the mid to late-50s AD from Corinth. Even in writing to Rome, we know that Paul has not yet been there, and yet Paul is SATISFIED by what he has heard about his brothers and sisters in Rome.
SATISFIED (peithō) - this Greek term means to be persuaded or convinced
Paul’s Absolute Conviction with the Philippians
Philippians 1:6 ESV
6 And I am sure of this, that he who began a good work in you will bring it to completion at the day of Jesus Christ.
ILLUSTRATION: What is something that you are fully convinced of?
Some people are fully convinced that the world is flat. Sadly.
Others are fully convinced that something like the zombie apocalypse will actually happen.
Still others are convinced that coffee is not good.
What it means to be fully convinced or persuaded to a position is that the truth has been evidenced to you in a manner that you must hold a certain position.
The world is round. Zombies aren’t real. And coffee is the best drink in the world.
What is Paul convinced of?
The believers in Rome are…
Full of Goodness
Filled with Knowledge
Able to Instruct One Another
Paul considered them spiritually mature!
Full of Goodness
This means the believers in Rome had noticeably high moral character. It is noticeable in them not because of their own moral growth after gathering with the church for some time. This is not a goodness of their own, but it is the fruit of the One who has been given to them.
The Holy Spirit’s Power
Romans 15:13 ESV
13 May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that by the power of the Holy Spirit you may abound in hope.
It is the power of the Holy Spirit that dwells within Christ’s church that produces goodness in its members. Galatians 5 tells us this plainly.
Filled with All Knowledge
No… this does not mean the believers in Rome had somehow come to know and understand all things about Christ and His church.
The churches in Rome at this point were doctrinally sound. Their faith and practice were grounded in Christ alone. Paul offered a comparable prayer for the church in Ephesus asking Him to grant them spiritual strength through greater knowledge of Christ.
Prayer for Spiritual Strength
Ephesians 3:14–19 (ESV)
14 For this reason I bow my knees before the Father, 15 from whom every family in heaven and on earth is named, 16 that according to the riches of his glory he may grant you to be strengthened with power through his Spirit in your inner being, 17 so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith—that you, being rooted and grounded in love, 18 may have strength to comprehend with all the saints what is the breadth and length and height and depth, 19 and to know the love of Christ that surpasses knowledge, that you may be filled with all the fullness of God.
Not only is their goodness evident by the Spirit’s work, but Paul is “illustrating that virtue and knowledge are inseparable.” - MacArthur Study Bible, p1571.
Able to Instruct One Another
Take notice here church family: Paul is not simply talking to the pastors or leaders of the churches in Rome, but he is addressing them collectively. They have grown in their understanding and practice such that they are able to INSTRUCT one another.
INSTRUCT (noutheteō) - The Greek term here means to admonish, advise about avoiding wrongdoing.
This is not only the Pastor’s role, but WE…WE share it together.
“Ordinary Christians — not just clergy, and especially those who are mature and wise in faith — should counsel, warn, encourage, and challenge other Christians.” - Christ Centered Exposition, p237
APPLICATION:
Like Paul, we support one another in ministry by encouraging each other in the fruit of God’s work that we are seeing!
In our Community Groups, we encourage our brothers and sisters when we see growth in understanding or practice, and we give God the glory in doing so.
In our Community Groups with our kids, we prioritize this time (parents and singles alike) to invest in and encourage our kids as they, by God’s grace, grow in their understanding of the Christian faith.
Commitment to these things are simply a reflection of the covenant we signed together!
COTV Covenant
COTV Covenant Paragraph 3: “We will draw near to God in worship (Psalm 16:11; Heb. 10:22; Rom. 12:1-2). We will delight in the glory of God (Ps. 16:11; 37:4; 63:1-11), depend on the presence of God (Ex. 33:14-18; Mt. 28:20; Jn. 15:5; Jas. 4:8), grow in the knowledge of God (Php. 3:10; Col. 1:9-12; 2 Pet. 3:17-18), and submit to the Word of God as the all-sufficient authority in our lives and in His church (2 Tim. 3:14-4:5; Ps. 19:7-11; 119:105-112).”
Paul was convinced of these things in the churches of Rome and it brought him great satisfaction, to the glory of God.
Romans 15:15–19 ESV
But on some points I have written to you very boldly by way of reminder, because of the grace given me by God to be a minister of Christ Jesus to the Gentiles in the priestly service of the gospel of God, so that the offering of the Gentiles may be acceptable, sanctified by the Holy Spirit. In Christ Jesus, then, I have reason to be proud of my work for God. For I will not venture to speak of anything except what Christ has accomplished through me to bring the Gentiles to obedience—by word and deed, by the power of signs and wonders, by the power of the Spirit of God—so that from Jerusalem and all the way around to Illyricum I have fulfilled the ministry of the gospel of Christ;

2. We remind one another the purpose of ministry (v15-19)

Even though Paul is persuaded or convinced of their spiritual in Rome, he does not cease to boldly remind them of things they already knew. So easily do we forget the truths and promises of our God.
Throughout Romans, Paul has been certainly been instructing them in things they may not have known, but he also was laboring to remind them of the core truths that were the foundation of their belief.
ILLUSTRATION: The Forgetfulness of Children
As much as we love our children, it is amazing how quickly they sometimes forget what they are doing or why they are doing it.
You send your kid to their room to clean it. After a little while, you go to check on them and find they building the world’s greatness Lego tower. You wonder… how did we get here?
Your instructions were clear, but somewhere they got sidetracked, distracted by something else.
APPLICATION:
This is us in the church! We need constant reminders of how to truth of the gospel should guide everything we are doing as a body of believers.
2 Timothy 2:8–14 “8 Remember Jesus Christ, risen from the dead, the offspring of David, as preached in my gospel, 9 for which I am suffering, bound with chains as a criminal. But the word of God is not bound! 10 Therefore I endure everything for the sake of the elect, that they also may obtain the salvation that is in Christ Jesus with eternal glory. 11 The saying is trustworthy, for: If we have died with him, we will also live with him; 12 if we endure, we will also reign with him; if we deny him, he also will deny us; 13 if we are faithless, he remains faithful— for he cannot deny himself. 14 Remind them of these things, and charge them before God not to quarrel about words, which does no good, but only ruins the hearers.
Back to Romans
Paul speaks boldly to them bc of God’s gracious gift to him! Christ himself opened Paul’s eyes to the truth, and since that moment he has been a minister of Christ to the Gentiles.
Paul further describes his ministry to the Gentiles as his “priestly service of the gospel of God” where Paul longs to present the offering of the Gentiles as “acceptable, sanctified by the Holy Spirit.
What does this mean?
Like a priest in the old covenant who offered sacred worship to God, Paul’s ministry among the Gentiles in bringing many to saving faith through Christ was done in worship of God and for the glory of God.
Living Sacrifices
Romans 12:1–2 (ESV)
1 I appeal to you therefore, brothers, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God, which is your spiritual worship. 2 Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect.
APPLICATION:
Like Paul, as living sacrifices unto God, we seek to make more living sacrifices for His glory.
In the spiritual worship of our lives, we seek to bring more before Him in worship for all eternity, for His glory.
(V17-18)
Is Paul shamelessly boasting in his own accomplishments in ministry?
No! Certainly not. He says his boast is only in what Christ has accomplished through the ministry he was given.
1 Corinthians 1:27–31 ESV
27 But God chose what is foolish in the world to shame the wise; God chose what is weak in the world to shame the strong; 28 God chose what is low and despised in the world, even things that are not, to bring to nothing things that are, 29 so that no human being might boast in the presence of God. 30 And because of him you are in Christ Jesus, who became to us wisdom from God, righteousness and sanctification and redemption, 31 so that, as it is written, “Let the one who boasts, boast in the Lord.”
Like Paul, we were the foolish. We were the weak. We were the lowly. And because of this, we have no reason to boast in where we are in Christ. Our boast is only in the Lord!
We can be proud of what we have accomplished in ministry together, but ensure that He gets the glory.
Romans 15:18–19 “18 For I will not venture to speak of anything except what Christ has accomplished through me to bring the Gentiles to obedience—by word and deed, 19 by the power of signs and wonders, by the power of the Spirit of God—so that from Jerusalem and all the way around to Illyricum I have fulfilled the ministry of the gospel of Christ;”
These are very key verses in understanding Paul’s perspective of his ministry.
The Apostle Paul
Arguably the greatest missionary of all time.
Thousands of miles travelled by land and sea.
Wrote roughly half of the New Testament.
A man of such blessing from Lord humbly said he will not speak of anything but what Christ has accomplished through him.
Paul at the Jerusalem Council
Acts 15:12 ESV
12 And all the assembly fell silent, and they listened to Barnabas and Paul as they related what signs and wonders God had done through them among the Gentiles.
Paul Visited James in Jerusalem (bringing aid)
Acts 21:17–19 ESV
17 When we had come to Jerusalem, the brothers received us gladly. 18 On the following day Paul went in with us to James, and all the elders were present. 19 After greeting them, he related one by one the things that God had done among the Gentiles through his ministry.
Humble service in gospel proclamation and discipleship in great adoration and worship of the Lord.
Paul labored to bring the Gentiles into obedience to Christ by word and deed, and also by the power of signs and wonders.
Such gifts were given to the apostles to authenticate the gospel being preached, but even it was still God at work through it all.
Paul say’s that from Jerusalem to Illyricum (modern day northern-Albania, some 1400 miles), he has fulfilled the ministry he has been given.
APPLICATION:
What is the purpose of our ministry together at COTV?
COTV Covenant Paragraph 2: “Having been brought by divine grace to repent and believe in the Lord Jesus Christ (Eph 1:3-14; Eph 2:4-9; Ac. 2:38; 16:31; 20:21; Rom. 10:9-10), surrendering our lives to Him (Lk. 14:25-33), and having been baptized upon our confession of faith (Mt. 28:19; Ac. 2:41; Rom. 6:1-4), we covenant together, as Christ’s church, to glorify God (Is. 43:7; 1 Cor. 10:31) by making disciples (Mt. 28:18-20; 2 Tim. 2:2) of all nations (Ps. 67:1-2; Rev. 7:9-10).”
This is our aim based on the Word of God. We must be constantly reminding one another why we have been brought from death in life to life in Christ — for the glory of God among all nations.
This…is why we exist.
Question: What is the chief end of man? Answer: Man’s chief end is to glorify God and enjoy Him forever.
A. W. Tozer
Romans 15:20–24 ESV
and thus I make it my ambition to preach the gospel, not where Christ has already been named, lest I build on someone else’s foundation, but as it is written, “Those who have never been told of him will see, and those who have never heard will understand.” This is the reason why I have so often been hindered from coming to you. But now, since I no longer have any room for work in these regions, and since I have longed for many years to come to you, I hope to see you in passing as I go to Spain, and to be helped on my journey there by you, once I have enjoyed your company for a while.

3. We remain in pursuit of the lost and unreached in ministry (v20-24)

These verses are really the anchor, the heartbeat for this section of Romans.
Paul has just declared to the Romans that from Jerusalem to Illyricum, he has fulfilled the ministry of the gospel of Christ. He continues that thought here in verse 20 saying his ambition is to preach Christ where he is not yet known.
We will come back to this in a moment.
Does this mean everyone is a believer in these major cities where he has established churches? Certainly not. The mission given to Paul was not to save everyone he came across, for salvation is the Lord’s work alone. Instead, this was the mission given to Paul.
Paul’s Mission
Acts 9:13–16 ESV
13 But Ananias answered, “Lord, I have heard from many about this man, how much evil he has done to your saints at Jerusalem. 14 And here he has authority from the chief priests to bind all who call on your name.” 15 But the Lord said to him, “Go, for he is a chosen instrument of mine to carry my name before the Gentiles and kings and the children of Israel. 16 For I will show him how much he must suffer for the sake of my name.”
Paul was sent out from Antioch and he went to Cyprus, Iconium, Lystra, Syria, Macedonia, Thessalonica, Berea.… you get the point. In all these places he proclaimed Jesus and His gospel to a people who had never heard the Truth that there is one name under heaven by which man can saved.
Believers were baptized, Churches were established, Pastors and Leaders were equipped, and the Body was making disciples. Paul said he would be building on the work of others if he stayed much longer where he was. This what has kept him from coming to the believers in Rome.
In contrast, Paul’s aim was to establish churches on the true rock, the gospel of Christ, care for them well as they matured, and then move on to somewhere else. As we have seen across Romans, the Lord always had both Jews and Gentiles for His church from the beginning of time.
Paul quotes the prophet Isaiah 52 here in v.21 and it is clear that Paul’s primary concern was where the gospel had not yet been. These are often referred to as “unreached people groups” as they are not merely lost in their sin, but they have minimal to no access to Jesus, the gospel, or the church.
Per today’s best estimates, this includes over 3 Billion people in over 7000 people groups. (radical.net)
Paul’s aim was not merely to visit the churches in Rome, but to use his brief time there as a launching point for his journey to Spain where he knew the Gospel was not.
In the OT this city/region was known as Tarshish, the farthest point away from fulfilling the Lord’s commands that Jonah could go. Paul said...the farthest I can see or think of is my aim according to the grace of God and mission he had been given.
APPLICATION: What is my calling?
We certainly serve in different roles in Christ’s church. We are one body with many members.
In considering missions (even short term trips), I have often heard “I’d go if I felt like God was calling me to go.
While it is true that we see God working in unique ways across the Scriptures to call some to a specific purpose (for Paul, the Damascus Road), it is interesting that is not what Paul appeals to here in Romans 15, nor does he encourage the reader to wait around for this experience before joining the mission of the church.
Instead he points the reader to God’s Word in Isaiah 52 with the promise that those who have not seen the truth will have their eyes open. Those who have never heard the Good News will hear. The Word of God was enough to fuel gospel mission in the heart and mind of Paul for those who have never heard the Gospel. His Word alone should be enough for us as well!
Christ’s church is the plan for reaching the nations. I am not saying God can no longer work in miraculous ways where he is not known, for He is God and He can do as He pleases. Even so, WE...sinners saved by grace...are the primary vessel to carry the Gospel to where it is not.
This is Our Calling
Matthew 28:18–20 ESV
18 And Jesus came and said to them, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. 19 Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”
In some way, be a part of gospel mission around the world among unreached people groups who will perish eternally without this truth. Go on this mission. Give towards this mission. Pray for this mission.
You have been called.
This Day is Coming!
Revelation 5:3–9 ESV
3 And no one in heaven or on earth or under the earth was able to open the scroll or to look into it, 4 and I began to weep loudly because no one was found worthy to open the scroll or to look into it. 5 And one of the elders said to me, “Weep no more; behold, the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the Root of David, has conquered, so that he can open the scroll and its seven seals.” 6 And between the throne and the four living creatures and among the elders I saw a Lamb standing, as though it had been slain, with seven horns and with seven eyes, which are the seven spirits of God sent out into all the earth. 7 And he went and took the scroll from the right hand of him who was seated on the throne. 8 And when he had taken the scroll, the four living creatures and the twenty-four elders fell down before the Lamb, each holding a harp, and golden bowls full of incense, which are the prayers of the saints. 9 And they sang a new song, saying, “Worthy are you to take the scroll and to open its seals, for you were slain, and by your blood you ransomed people for God from every tribe and language and people and nation,
GOSPEL
We need to be reminded often that our pursuit as Christians is not primarily the betterment of ourselves, our families, or even our church building. Yes it certainly includes gospel proclamation and disciple making where we live, but we must join Paul in faithfully taking the gospel where it has not yet gone.
Romans 15:25–29 ESV
At present, however, I am going to Jerusalem bringing aid to the saints. For Macedonia and Achaia have been pleased to make some contribution for the poor among the saints at Jerusalem. For they were pleased to do it, and indeed they owe it to them. For if the Gentiles have come to share in their spiritual blessings, they ought also to be of service to them in material blessings. When therefore I have completed this and have delivered to them what has been collected, I will leave for Spain by way of you. I know that when I come to you I will come in the fullness of the blessing of Christ.

4. We provide for one another generously in ministry (v25-29)

Giving in the modern day church is something that will easily spark a heated conversation. Many “ex-vangelicals” that have “deconstructed their faith” will often take to the internet saying the church is only after your money.
Though it is true that the visible church is full of sinful humans that are at times overcome by greed, these people are sadly deceived and do not understand the purpose of giving in the church.
Paul had longed to be in Rome with his brothers and sisters in Christ for some time, but in Acts 19-21 he takes a detour to gather financial aid for the saints in Jerusalem. On his third missionary journey, this endeavor brought his through Asia Minor (Galatians, Ephesians), Macedonia (Philippians, Thessalonians), and Achaia (Athens, Corinth).
Paul was doing this out of mercy and great love for the saints in Jerusalem, and it pleased these other Churches to contribute.
PLEASED (eudokeō) - to take pleasure in something or to be delighted in it
This was voluntary for these churches and not forced upon them by Paul. They took great delight in providing for others they had likely never met before. WHY???
Unity in the Body
Ephesians 4:1–7 ESV
1 I therefore, a prisoner for the Lord, urge you to walk in a manner worthy of the calling to which you have been called, 2 with all humility and gentleness, with patience, bearing with one another in love, 3 eager to maintain the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace. 4 There is one body and one Spirit—just as you were called to the one hope that belongs to your call— 5 one Lord, one faith, one baptism, 6 one God and Father of all, who is over all and through all and in all. 7 But grace was given to each one of us according to the measure of Christ’s gift.
Whether Jew or Gentile, it no longer mattered to them, for they were one, united in Christ. “One God and Father of all through Christ” was their joint confession, and thus they gave generously.
ILLUSTRATION: COTV Giving
Many or most of you know we made a decision a long time ago regarding how we are going to structure our finances here at COTV. I had only been in this role as pastor for a short period of time, and it was one of the few times when Joe said “I haven’t even ran this by Seth yet, but this is where I feel like the Lord is leading us.”
50% of giving is allocated towards missions at COTV. Local, National, and International.
I make no boast in this personally, all glory be to Christ. This is one of the best decisions we could have ever made. Because of your faithfulness to give, we have been able to give generously in all three areas.
Though this was not required of the churches, Paul says they owe it to the believers in Jerusalem. The Spiritual blessings they have come to share in with the Jews (adoptions as sons/daughters, eternal life) compels them to lovingly support the church in Jerusalem.
Paul said once he completed his delivery to Jerusalem, he will leave for Spain, making plans to come to them first in the fullness of the blessings of Christ.
APPLICATION:
Paul was not using the believers in Rome, but he wants relational support. He desires to be an encourage mt to them in the gospel and incite them to join in supporting him among the unreached.
Pradeep’s Speech (Nepal Trip #1)
Give generously in worship to God to support the mission of God to our neighbors and to the nations.
COTV Covenant Paragraph 7: We will faithfully study and teach God’s Word in our homes (Deuteronomy 6). We will give cheerfully and generously to the support of the church, the relief of the poor, and the spread of the Gospel through all nations (2 Cor. 8-9).
Romans 15:30–33 ESV
I appeal to you, brothers, by our Lord Jesus Christ and by the love of the Spirit, to strive together with me in your prayers to God on my behalf, that I may be delivered from the unbelievers in Judea, and that my service for Jerusalem may be acceptable to the saints, so that by God’s will I may come to you with joy and be refreshed in your company. May the God of peace be with you all. Amen.

5. We strive together prayerfully in ministry (v30-33)

Simply put here, Paul recognized his need for intercessory prayer from the churches in Rome. Intercessory Prayer or Intercession is prayer to God on behalf of another. Paul asked this of the churches he helped established often.
1 Thessalonians 5:25 ESV
25 Brothers, pray for us.
Colossians 4:3–4 ESV
3 At the same time, pray also for us, that God may open to us a door for the word, to declare the mystery of Christ, on account of which I am in prison— 4 that I may make it clear, which is how I ought to speak.
Furthermore, Paul asked them to STRIVE with him in prayer, meaning to contend or struggle with him in this manner. This contending together in prayer is how the global church is joined together. It is an area in which we grow closer to God and in greater communion together in the Christian faith.
United Together in One Spirit
Philippians 1:27 ESV
27 Only let your manner of life be worthy of the gospel of Christ, so that whether I come and see you or am absent, I may hear of you that you are standing firm in one spirit, with one mind striving side by side for the faith of the gospel,
In prayer, we are united together at COTV with the global church as we seek His will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Striving together in prayer is an excellent use of our time during busy days and weeks.
What did Paul need prayer for?
He asked the Romans to pray that he be delivered from the unbelievers in Judea because the Holy Spirit had made it plain that the road ahead of him would be difficult.
Acts 20:22–24 ESV
22 And now, behold, I am going to Jerusalem, constrained by the Spirit, not knowing what will happen to me there, 23 except that the Holy Spirit testifies to me in every city that imprisonment and afflictions await me. 24 But I do not account my life of any value nor as precious to myself, if only I may finish my course and the ministry that I received from the Lord Jesus, to testify to the gospel of the grace of God.
He also asked them to pray that their gist for the saints in Jersualem would be acceptable, providing what they needed.
APPLICATION:
When it comes to praying on behalf of our brothers and sisters in Christ, we have no good excuse in neglecting this.
According to New City Catechisms, Prayer is pouring out our hearts to God. It is not a pouring out of our natural hearts that seek evil and selfish gain at every turn. That is our former heart of stone. No… it is a pouring out of our heart of flesh that we have graciously been given by God through the gospel of Jesus Christ.
We may be in a time of our lives where GOING physically is more difficult. We may be in personal circumstances where GIVING is more challenging. We have no excuse to not strive with our brothers and sisters in prayer daily.
COTV Covenant Paragraph 5: “We will hold fast to the confession of the hope we profess in Christ (Heb. 10:23). We will spur one another on to love and good deeds (Heb. 10:24). We will meet with one another consistently (Heb. 10:25), pray for one another regularly (Php. 1:3-6), and serve one another selflessly (Rom. 12:9-13).”
Church Family, if you are in Christ then you are in ministry. Let’s rejoice in the great works of God as he sanctifies His church and sends us out to the nations. Let us give generously to gospel mission where Christ’s name is needed most and let us never forget the power of prayer.
