And it was good

PRM message Hebrew
Creation
God created the heavens in the Earth and all the things in it, including man. He said it was good.
in that creation, God gave everything that man even needed or wanted to help. But he also gave Man one that Man wanted needed and thing that God needed from mankind. That was free will. God wanted man wanted man to choose to be in right relationship with him. So he gave them everything, but he also gave them the option of one thing that was outside of a right relationship with him. because this one tree will result in you knowing what is good and evil And when tree>
so in this man fell from grace and they were moved eastward outside of the garden.
in creation the second day of creation let there be light. light wasn’t needed so it wasn’t a creature that needed but would all of creation would need it. Does God knew that all of us would love darkness rather than life.Fast-forward all the way to the book of John John says that light came into the world and and that light was the word that word is Jesus Christ that light was the word that Jesus Christ.
And it was good
On one of those days he created light and it was good.
In the first verses of John that light had come into the dark
That this light was Jesus but the world preferred the dark.
As you know the first humans Adam and Eve were deceived and in their free will chose to give up everything for one thing and that one thing brought sin into focus while bringing death with it.
When God picked how his son would come to this earth and live his life he didn’t pick one of riches and ease but he rather picked the most meager of ways, the simplest of lifes.
The book of Isaiah tells it like this. And to whom has the arm of the Lord been revealed?2 For he grew up before him like a young plant, and like a root out of dry ground;he had no form or majesty that we should look at him,and no beauty that we should desire him.3 He was despised and rejected by men, a man of sorrows and acquainted with grief;and as one from whom men hide their faces
he was despised, and we esteemed him not. (Isaiah 53:1–3, ESV)
Life is hard, Jesus knows this because he lived a life. He is described as a man of sorrows. He knows your struggles, and he wants to ease your burden.
One of work and struggle. One constantly filled with the risk of death.
Jesus wouldn’t be anything special to this world.
Abraham sacrafice
Tonight we brought you food but God wants to give you life, and life more abundantly.
Instead of a son they could offer a lamb
God delivers a son
The true sacrafice was never Isaac it was Abraham
Abraham laid true faith in the alter that day. It is about surrender in one faith, and then God di the unthinkable, a gave his son.
Why us…h has come to save what is lost.
He lives and so can you
Luke 24
He came as a humble child but will return soon as a king
