Unity is a product

The state of being united or joined as one whole

Unity in the church is spiritual

Diversity brings unity
We all reach different people
We need the same overall goal
We all have to work on ourselves individually for unity
Unity comes from viewing others how christ did
Build each other up
Instead of gossiping, help
give grace, everyone is getting sanctified
Everyone is different, they can’t be like you
If you view negatively, you will not be nourished
You have to sacrifice as a leader
It’s a responsibility you take on
Sacrifice what you feel for unity
Sacrifice fun for others to see unity
As a leader of a ministry you are held to a higher standard
People respect sacrifice
If you aren’t sacrificing, striving, it causes division
it’s a group thing
men need to be godly men
Our life is not our own, we live for christ

Galatians 6:1-10

25 If we live by the Spirit, let us also walk in step with the Spirit.

26 Let us not become those with vain glory, challenging one another, envying one another.

1 Brothers, even if anyone is caught in any transgression, you who are spiritual, restore such a one in a spirit of gentleness, each of you looking to yourself, so that you too will not be tempted.

2 Bear one another’s burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ.

3 For if anyone thinks he is something when he is nothing, he deceives himself.

4 But each one must examine his own work, and then he will have reason for boasting in regard to himself alone, and not in regard to another.

5 For each one will bear his own load.

6 And the one who is instructed in the word is to share in all good things with the one who instructs him.

7 Do not be deceived, God is not mocked, for whatever a man sows, this he will also reap.

8 For the one who sows to his own flesh will from the flesh reap corruption, but the one who sows to the Spirit will from the Spirit reap eternal life.

9 And let us not lose heart in doing good, for in due time we will reap if we do not grow weary.

10 So then, awhile we have opportunity, let us do good to all people, and especially to those who are of the household of the faith.

Ephesians 4:1–7 LSB
Therefore I, the prisoner in the Lord, exhort you to walk worthy of the calling with which you have been called, with all humility and gentleness, with patience, bearing with one another in love, being diligent to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace. There is one body and one Spirit, just as also you were called in one hope of your calling; one Lord, one faith, one baptism; one God and Father of all who is over all and through all and in all. But to each one of us grace was given according to the measure of Christ’s gift.
Philippians 2 LSB
1-15 Therefore if there is any encouragement in Christ, if there is any consolation of love, if there is any fellowship of the Spirit, if any affection and compassion, fulfill my joy, that you think the same way, by maintaining the same love, being united in spirit, thinking on one purpose, doing nothing from selfish ambition or vain glory, but with humility of mind regarding one another as more important than yourselves, not merely looking out for your own personal interests, but also for the interests of others. Have this way of thinking in yourselves which was also in Christ Jesus, who, although existing in the form of God, did not regard equality with God a thing to be grasped, but emptied Himself, by taking the form of a slave, by being made in the likeness of men. Being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself by becoming obedient to the point of death, even death on a cross. Therefore, God also highly exalted Him, and bestowed on Him the name which is above every name, so that at the name of Jesus every knee will bow, of those who are in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and that every tongue will confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. So then, my beloved, just as you have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your salvation with fear and trembling; for it is God who is at work in you, both to will and to work for His good pleasure. Do all things without grumbling or disputing, so that you will be blameless and innocent, children of God without blemish in the midst of a crooked and perverse generation, among whom you shine as lights in the world,
