Jesus came to this earth. He lived a perfect life. He had a 3 1/2 year ministry and was ultimately crucified for the sins of the entire world. As we celebrated a few weeks ago he rose again from the dead after 3 days and 3 nights in the tomb. After another 40 days on the earth he ascended into heaven. Before leaving earth Jesus gave some instruction to his disciples that is a well known passage of Scripture we now refer to as the Great Commission. It was given to every believer and the command is clear.
