Introduce myself as Pastor David McCloud of New Wine Revelation Ministries International and thank everyone for tuning in to Sunday Soul Talk.
“Talk for your soul that will make you whole.”
Sunday Soul Talk is a platform where I take biblical concepts and relate them to everyday life. For some, the Bible may seem complex or even boring. You may even ask yourself; how does this book even apply to me? Well, It is my goal with the help of the Holy Spirit to make the scriptures come alive and become relevant to your soul and have you feeling whole afterwards.
So, if you’re home and if you’re just getting up out of bed, sit back and relax with a cup of coffee or tea and tune in.

Our discussion this morning is entitled: “Heaven Ain’t On Mute - It’s Waiting On You!”
Introduction
Introduction
This morning’s message is going to be one of those messages that provokes us all to look within and when I say all, that means me too. You know, I don’t ever want to be labeled as a preacher who just preaches one type of message. In Christendom today, you have some people who only preach on blessings and financial prosperity, some who are more motivational speakers, some who only preach feel good messages and nothing to ever provoke change within. The Bible calls that preaching to itching ears. In other words, you’re catering your message to what you think the people want to hear but not what they may need to hear in order to grow in their relationship with Jesus Christ and to resemble Christ. But when you really want to know God for yourself and have a deep relationship with Him there are going to be times in your walk with God when He praises what you’re doing, when he convicts you of wrongdoing, when He allows you to be in a situation that might seem challenging but it really is to develop your faith, trust and dependence upon Him. The Apostle Paul said it perfectly in Acts 20:27
for I didn’t shrink from declaring all that God wants you to know.
I firmly believe that preaching and teaching the Gospel should be balanced. In other words, there are times when we may need to hear a message on repentance, there may be times when we need to be confronted about sin in our lives or within the Body of Christ, there may be times when we need to hear about the power of God, and there may be times when we need to hear messages on developing our faith.
Preach the word of God. Be prepared, whether the time is favorable or not. Patiently correct, rebuke, and encourage your people with good teaching.
For a time is coming when people will no longer listen to sound and wholesome teaching. They will follow their own desires and will look for teachers who will tell them whatever their itching ears want to hear.
As a minister of the Gospel, it is my responsibility before God to preach the whole counsel of God and speak the truth in love and that’s what I hope to do today with the help of the Holy Spirit. I believe this message will challenge all of us and that’s a good thing because God wants us to have His best for us.
Foundational Scripture
Foundational Scripture
Then if my people who are called by my name will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sins and restore their land. My eyes will be open and my ears attentive to every prayer made in this place. For I have chosen this Temple and set it apart to be holy—a place where my name will be honored forever. I will always watch over it, for it is dear to my heart.
This scripture is quoted a lot in the church and many people have memorized this scripture. In this passage of scripture, God was speaking to King Solomon and responding to his prayer after the temple had been dedicated unto God.
In Old Testament times, the Temple was the representative dwelling place of God and it was the focal point of Israel’s worship.
