"God doesn’t just speak through sermons—sometimes He whispers through the wind, paints His presence in the sky, and teaches through the quiet rhythm of creation. If you slow down and embrace the space, you just might hear Him in what you once overlooked."

To hold closely in one’s arms, especially as a sign of affection or acceptance.
To adopt a new idea, change, or moment without resistance.

To embrace is to lean into what God is doing—even when it’s unfamiliar, uncomfortable, or silent—trusting that His presence is in the space you’re in.
This week we were challenged to take a 5 day journey to embrace the space!
God desires intentional, uninterrupted time with Him!
If you were able to spend time with Him outdoors…
If you were open to acknowledge His handiwork all around you…
Psalms 19 is going to hit different today!
The heavens declare the glory of God,
and the sky above proclaims his handiwork.

Heavens refers to the skies, stars, sun, moon, galaxies—everything above the earth.
They declare…
Declare: Means to recount, to proclaim, to show forth, to announce. –
It’s the same word used when someone tells a story or counts something clearly.
The heavens are making an announcement about the Glory of God!
What is “the glory of God”?

Glory (Hebrew: kavod) refers to the weight, splendor, majesty, and presence of God.
When the psalm says the heavens declare the glory of God, it's saying:
“Every sunrise, star, and cloud is a sermon about God’s power, order, creativity, and presence.”
The heavens reveal a Creator who is brilliant and powerful.
The sun warms the earth. Rain nourishes crops. Gravity keeps us grounded.
These natural forces benefit us, pointing to a God who is generous and sustaining.

Refers to something intentionally made or formed—not random
The sky isn’t chaos—it’s crafted.

A vibrant sunset or a full moon naturally stops us in our tracks.
That awe we feel? It's a whisper from God.
Beauty is God’s way of saying, “I’m near.”

The sun rises even after your worst night.
The moon lights the darkest hours.
Clouds come and go, but the sky remains.
Day to day pours out speech,
and night to night reveals knowledge.
There is no speech, nor are there words,
whose voice is not heard.
Their voice goes out through all the earth,
and their words to the end of the world.
In them he has set a tent for the sun,
which comes out like a bridegroom leaving his chamber,
and, like a strong man, runs its course with joy.
“Every day and every night, creation is constantly showing us who God is.
It doesn’t use words or sounds, but its message is clear.
The skies silently speak to the entire world, and no one is left out—they all see what God has done.”
Don’t tell me Embracing the Space doesn’t change you outlook about yourself!
The Psalmist looks up to heaven…
When I look at your heavens, the work of your fingers,
the moon and the stars, which you have set in place,
what is man that you are mindful of him,
and the son of man that you care for him?

God is attentive and cares about me….
And God is going to take action on my behalf…
