Telephone Game
4 Therefore, as to the eating of food offered to idols, we know that “an idol has no real existence,” and that “there is no God but one.”
5 For although there may be so-called gods in heaven or on earth—as indeed there are many “gods” and many “lords”—
6 yet for us there is one God, the Father, from whom are all things and for whom we exist, and one Lord, Jesus Christ, through whom are all things and through whom we exist.
4 But when the fullness of time had come, God sent forth his Son, born of woman, born under the law,
5 to redeem those who were under the law, so that we might receive adoption as sons.
6 And because you are sons, God has sent the Spirit of his Son into our hearts, crying, “Abba! Father!”
7 So you are no longer a slave, but a son, and if a son, then an heir through God.
1 See what kind of love the Father has given to us, that we should be called children of God; and so we are. The reason why the world does not know us is that it did not know him.
Hear—God/the Father—Don’t think much
Ancient world/radical.
Roman/Greek religions—Gods—Distant/Impersonal/Cruel.
But the God/Bible—Isn’t—Distant/Impersonal
Close/loving Father.

For some—Idea—Father—Isn’t comforting.
Earthly father—Harsh—Distant—Difficult/please—Absent.
Even if your father was absent, God is always present. (Heb 13:5)
Even if your father was harsh, God is compassionate. (Ps 103:13)
Even if your father was distant, God is close. (Ps 34:18)
Even if your father was hard to please, God delights in you. (Zep 3:17)
God—Perfect Father—Loves you—Sees you—Cares—Pursues you.

Not only is God—The Father—He’s Almighty God—Why matter?
A God—Just Father—Loving—Not powerful.
A God—Just Almighty—Powerful—Not loving.
But our God—Both—Loving Father—And—All-Powerful King.
He is a God—Who rules—Galaxies
And a God—Knows your name.

When you pray … Kneel—Call God … “Almighty Father.”
God is almighty!
(No prob too big—Handle) (No person too broke/Heal) (No plan/Stop)
God is Almighty—Nothing is impossible—Him.
God is Father—Nothing—Too small—Him.

I believe—In the beginning—Created the heavens and the earth.
The God—Abraham—Isaac—Jacob.
The God—Keeps his promises—Across generations.
The God—Parts the sea—Makes a way—When there is no way.
The God—Led his people—Fire at night—Cloud by day.
Brings down walls—Shout—Takes down a giant—Stone.
The God—Commands—Wind—Waves—They obey.
The God—Restores broken—Heals sick—Raises the dead.
The God—Became Flesh—Gave his life—We could live.
The God—Who turns crucifixions—Into resurrections.
The God who sees you—Knows you—Calls you by name.
The God—Fights for you—Goes before you—Never leaves you.
The God—Who was—Is—And is to come.
