Welcome to our BSF leaders sharing day...
Some quick logistical details for today...
In a few minutes we will pray…then TAKE A GROUP PICTURE…then eat…then at 10:10ish we will move into a time of sharing together...
I also have a couple of quick announcements…
SUMMER PRAYER REQUEST (CARDS ON TABLE):
One of the benefits of BSF leadership is that, unlike your groups..it doesnt end.
Now don’t freak out- rest is coming…you are getting a break.
But this leadership circle continues.
Your staff is still here for you..we want to continue to come alongside you as life continues to come at you.
The prayer request channel is still open for you to use, and I would encourage you to use it.
But I would love to pray for you personally throughout the summer. So write your request on your notecard and be sure to put it in the basket here before you leave.
Let’s pray together so we can eat!

STICKER under your chair
Your yearly sticker from Anna, Lea, and myself is at your table. Be sure to take it with you.
thank you to admin.
Be AUDIBLE..and actually- we want you to use the mic. There are a lot of us in this room and we want to make sure everyone can hear.
Be BRIEF
Be CURRENT
Be DISCREET- remain loyal and confidential
and EXALT the Lord in all you say…
and when you don’t know how to wrap up…
as always..say…”TO GOD BE THE GLORY!”
To help keep us on track, we have a few questions on the screen if you need inspiration.
Also…because there are a lot of you..we are asking that you would use the mic when you speak..so we know it might be a little intimidating to walk to the mic, but please don’t let that stop you…we want everyone to be able to hear what God did this year!
So I am going to open it up now….who wants to start us off.
10:47…CLOSING
Before we sing..I have just a couple of quick announcements to share with you within the BSF world.
First- just a reminder that we will pray in here tomorrow as a leadership for Pre-Class prayer at 9:15.
BECKY
First, I want to let you know that Becky Calvin is stepping into a brand new role, to become what BSF calls a distance online trainer.
Sadly for us, this means she wont be in our leadership circle anymore, BUT she will be working with satellites in our area to grow into potential new classes. Please be praying for Becky as she takes on this new exciting role to grow BSF in our area!
KRIS
Another announcement is that our class isn’t getting any smaller and our leadership circle is growing. We still have women registering daily and our leadership circle is getting bigger and bigger.
In fact- you can be praying specifically for wisdom on all the moving pieces for next year, including more leaders. Right now, we need at least 7 more new leaders to make next year happen with the women and children currently registered, and that doesn’t include the August/September RUSH that happens. We are praying about potentially expanding outside of this building, but that requires lots and lots of details and manpower to make happen.
I’m not worried. God always provides what we need- when we need it. However, I’ve learned never to go at these things without an enormous amount of prayer on the front end.
With our growing numbers- In order to best care for you and for our class I’m excited to let you know that we are going to be adding a 3rd STL. This is something that HQ has been trialing in larger classes like ours and the response has been nothing but blessing after blessing.
Please know that the heart behind this is first and foremost to care for YOU… We have a large leadership and our desire is to care well for you first so that you can care for others.
So I am excited to let you know that Kris Fry has said YES to stepping into the role of STL for next year.
Please do not share this outside of this room as Kris is still in the process of completing her training. But you can expect to be hearing from her in the fall alongside myself, Lea, and Anna!
I cannot wait for you to be blessed by her as she steps into this role.
Lastly…before we go…
I just want to say THANK YOU.
THANK YOU for serving.
THANK YOU for giving up week after week after week…
For pouring into your women and children…
for looking at a million details…
THANK YOU for praying for me and for our entire staff…
It’s no small thing to say yes to BSF leadership..I think some of you think I am kidding when I tell you that in interviews…I have never to lied to you..
but yet…here you still are…all the way till the end.
As you move into summer- I want to take a minute and prepare you for what happens every year.
Life gets busy. You walk away from BSF, and the opportunities to do other things pop up everywhere.
In those moments, I would encourage you to remember the call and commitment you made back in March to return for next year.
God did not call you in March to stay in leadership for next year only to call you out in July.
If you are new to leadership- let me tell you how this is going to go.
Right now you feel tired…your schedule is busy and you want to quit all the things..including all the things for next year.
There is nothing wrong with you..every person is feeling that right now..
and then summer will come…with all it’s ups and downs..
then…August is going to hit..HARD…
You will feel your body tighten as EVERYTHING literally starts at once..
even if your kids aren’t in school all the programming in churches and life goes full force in August.
You will feel overwhelmed..you will look at your calendar…and then you will think…BSF- I can’t do it.
Dear friend. Yes you can…
WHEN you panic…cuz I know you will…I want you to call me.
Whether its next week or in August…or both…and we will talk..and we will pray…and TOGETHER we will follow God’s leading.
The gift of BSF leadership is that unlike your groups- it doesn’t end. Anna, Lea, and I…and soon to be Kris..aren’t going anywhere…we are here for YOU.
Jesus this year reminded us that YOU CAN persevere through hard things- not in your own strength- but in his…
when you start to look at your calendar- and your circumstances feel overwhelming..friends..go back to what we talked about in Revelation…
LOOK UP..
fix your eyes on Jesus, not on your circumstances- your circumstances are not a surprise to him.
So lets do that now..and end our time together as a leadership, where we started…
with our eyes fixed on Jesus…here these words from Revelation…
Grace and peace to you from him who is, and who was, and who is to come, and from the seven spirits[a] before his throne, 5 and from Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness, the firstborn from the dead, and the ruler of the kings of the earth.
To him who loves us and has freed us from our sins by his blood, 6 and has made us to be a kingdom and priests to serve his God and Father—to him be glory and power for ever and ever! Amen.
7 “Look, he is coming with the clouds,”[b]     and “every eye will see him, even those who pierced him”;     and all peoples on earth “will mourn because of him.”[c] So shall it be! Amen.
8 “I am the Alpha and the Omega,” says the Lord God, “who is, and who was, and who is to come, the Almighty.”
12 I turned around to see the voice that was speaking to me. And when I turned I saw seven golden lampstands, 13 and among the lampstands was someone like a son of man,[d] dressed in a robe reaching down to his feet and with a golden sash around his chest. 14 The hair on his head was white like wool, as white as snow, and his eyes were like blazing fire. 15 His feet were like bronze glowing in a furnace, and his voice was like the sound of rushing waters. 16 In his right hand he held seven stars, and coming out of his mouth was a sharp, double-edged sword. His face was like the sun shining in all its brilliance.
“‘Holy, holy, holy
is the Lord God Almighty,’
who was, and is, and is to come.”
“Worthy is the Lamb, who was slain,     to receive power and wealth and wisdom and strength     and honor and glory and praise!”
13 Then I heard every creature in heaven and on earth and under the earth and on the sea, and all that is in them, saying:
“To him who sits on the throne and to the Lamb     be praise and honor and glory and power, for ever and ever!”
12 “Look, I am coming soon! My reward is with me, and I will give to each person according to what they have done. 13 I am the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last, the Beginning and the End.
16 “I, Jesus, have sent my angel to give you this testimony for the churches.
I am the Root and the Offspring of David, and the bright Morning Star.”
17 The Spirit and the bride say, “Come!”
And let the one who hears say, “Come!”
Let the one who is thirsty come; and let the one who wishes take the free gift of the water of life.
Amen. Come, Lord Jesus.
Let’s stand and sing…
21 The grace of the Lord Jesus be you… Amen.
