We know inherently that death is not supposed to be here. Something is wrong with our world, and no place is seen more than when we lose a loved one. We distance ourselves from death as much as possible, but what do we do when we lose someone close to us? What happens when death strikes at the most precious and vulnerable? Where is God when we lose a child? How can a good God allow such terrible things to happen?
First, I want to address what this is not, this is a not a book to bring comfort in grief or to help you feel better. I can’t do that, and this book most certainly cannot do that either. To lose a child is a pain that encompasses every single aspect of life, it changes everything but also nothing. Life continues but you are not the same.
