INTRODUCTION: Mother’s Day. Honor moms. Hurt leg. Its exhausting. I am the real victim.
Moms display the love of Christ is a unique way.
CONTEXT: Last public message before the cross. This what Jesus wanted to tell the masses.
John 12:44–46 “44 And Jesus cried out and said, “Whoever believes in me, believes not in me but in him who sent me. 45 And whoever sees me sees him who sent me. 46 I have come into the world as light, so that whoever believes in me may not remain in darkness.”
cried out - good start for mother’s day.
believes in me, believes not in me but in him who sent me - The only way that is true is if they are three in one.
Sent me - Shaliah - If someone is sent by a king, treat them as if they were the king.
sees - perceived.
I have come into the world as light - He shined the light of Jesus.

Jesus gives you eyes to see in spiritual darkness.

Car driving home. Headlights. You can’t see until they get closer.
John 12:47 “47 If anyone hears my words and does not keep them, I do not judge him; for I did not come to judge the world but to save the world.”
This is the greatest verse ever!
If my children would finish this, I don’t think they would finish it like this...
John 12:48 “48 The one who rejects me and does not receive my words has a judge; the word that I have spoken will judge him on the last day.”

Jesus didn't come to catch you sinning, but to catch you from falling.

Kids game, turn off the light, but then they get scarred without a night light. It wasn’t the dark that scared them, but the lack of ...

The same Word that calls out your sin is the same Word that calls you into grace.

John 12:49–50 “49 For I have not spoken on my own authority, but the Father who sent me has himself given me a commandment—what to say and what to speak. 50 And I know that his commandment is eternal life. What I say, therefore, I say as the Father has told me.””
