2 Corinthians 3:16–18 (ESV) 16 But when one turns to the Lord, the veil is removed. 17 Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom. 18 And we all, with unveiled face, beholding the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from one degree of glory to another. For this comes from the Lord who is the Spirit.
Where The Spirit is, THERE IS Freedom
Freedom from fear
2 Timothy 1:7 (ESV) 7 for God gave us a spirit not of fear but of power and love and self-control.
Freedom from Anxiety
Philippians 4:6–7 (ESV) 6 do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. 7 And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
Freedom from the punishment Sin
Romans 6:23 (ESV)23 For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Romans 8:1 (ESV) 1 There is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus.
Beholding the Glory of God Transforms us into Him
Don’t Conform to the World but Be Transformed by God.
Romans 12:2 (ESV)2 Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect.
God Created you to be new, don't go back to how it was
2 Corinthians 5:17 (ESV) 17 Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come.
God Clean Our Hearts
Psalm 51:10–12 (ESV) 10 Create in me a clean heart, O God, and renew a right spirit within me. 11 Cast me not away from your presence, and take not your Holy Spirit from me. 12 Restore to me the joy of your salvation, and uphold me with a willing spirit.
