Communion devotion

HE was wounded

for OUR trangressions

v.5b

HE was bruised

for OUR iniquities

v.5c

The Chastisement of OUR peace

was upon HIM

v.5d

by HIS stripes

WE are healed

v.6

ALL WE like sheep have gone astray, WE have turned everyone to his own way

THE LORD has laid on HIM The iniquity of US ALL

What is the outcome of all this?

v.11

He shall see the labour of his soul, and be satisfied-

God’s justice is satisfied.

By his knowledge my righteous servant shall justify many- justify make righteous

Why?

For HE shall bear THEIR iniquities

Christ is our substitute

He dies for OUR sins-

He satisfies God’s justice and makes us righteous.
