Good morning moms and future moms.
If you all would stand with me for the reading of God’s word to us today.
Trust in the Lord with all your heart And do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He will make your paths straight.

Ladies, I want you to leave today understanding how valuable and important you are to your families.
I also want to encourage you today, to not give up seeking to bring the Kingdom of God into your homes and raising your children in the wisdom of the Lord.
WE LIVE IN A WORLD FULL OF FOOLISHNESS PRETENDING TO BE WISDOM.

Like no time in human history we have access to more knowledge than ever before.
We also have access to more foolishness than ever before.
FB, X, Instagram, Tik Tok, Youtube, etc.
MOMS YOU HAVE TO HANDLE A LOT! FROM DRAMMA TO TRAMMA, FOOLISHNESS TO BROKEN HEARTS, STEERING YOUR CHILDREN TOWARDS GOD, DEALING WITH A BULLY CULTURE, TO CHANGING HORMONES AND BODIES.
Then there are the hard things - sexual curiosity, when is it right for your child to have 24 hour access to social media and the internet? How to handle on going sin in your children, etc?

IT IS ONE THING TO RUN TO SOCIAL MEDIA TO SEEK WISDOM OF TEETH WHITENING.
BUT WHERE DO YOU GO FOR THE REAL ISSUE OF LIFE?
WHAT DOES IT REALLY MEAN TO SEEK THE WISDOM OF GOD.

Now a certain woman of the wives of the sons of the prophets cried out to Elisha, “Your servant my husband is dead, and you know that your servant feared the Lord; and the creditor has come to take my two children to be his slaves.” Elisha said to her, “What shall I do for you? Tell me, what do you have in the house?” And she said, “Your maidservant has nothing in the house except a jar of oil.” Then he said, “Go, borrow vessels at large for yourself from all your neighbors, even empty vessels; do not get a few. “And you shall go in and shut the door behind you and your sons, and pour out into all these vessels, and you shall set aside what is full.” So she went from him and shut the door behind her and her sons; they were bringing the vessels to her and she poured. When the vessels were full, she said to her son, “Bring me another vessel.” And he said to her, “There is not one vessel more.” And the oil stopped. Then she came and told the man of God. And he said, “Go, sell the oil and pay your debt, and you and your sons can live on the rest.”

Notice what kind of wisdom I am talking about.
The world offers wisdom for sure but it is often a wisdom that will lead to destruction of your family.
Because the foolishness of God is wiser than men, and the weakness of God is stronger than men.
The woman in our story had options for wisdom / neighbors.
But she searched after the Wisdom of the Lord.
Imagine if she had TikTok or Instagram to go to.
Get an only fans page and sell your body online (future destruction)
Or if she went to FB or X -
She would have been pushed into a political tribe and told to rebel and defend her child.
One group would say take out the rich man he is an oligarch and deserves death.
The other group would have said, take out the man he is a government front who wants to steal your freedom.

SHE DID NONE OF THESE, INSTEAD SHE SAUGHT AFTER THE WISDOM OF THE LORD.
She and her child were saved from separation and deep poverty.
Her respect was intact and her body remained sacred.
Her debtor was paid what he was owed and community was not broken.
The wisdom of God took a hard situation and turned it into Life, Joy, and Beauty.

MOMS AND FUTURE MOMS YOU WILL FACE TIMES WHEN YOUR CHILDREN NEED YOU TO HAVE THE WISDOM OF GOD.
Become the kind of Moms who are constantly seeking the wisdom of God!

HOW DO WE OBTAIN THE WISDOM OF GOD.
OBVIOUS FIRST - BIBLE / CHURCH COMMUNITY / PRAYER.
NOT SO OBVIOUS -
Trust in the Lord with all your heart And do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He will make your paths straight.

Humility
Absolute trust in the Lord
Acknowledge him as Lord I’m every part of your life.
2nd Realize Who fully manifested The wisdom of God.

But by His doing you are in Christ Jesus, who became to us wisdom from God, and righteousness and sanctification, and redemption,
Become a mom who studies the life and teachings of Jesus.
He is the wisdom of God manifested in flesh.
Moms you should become experts on Jesus.
Not experts on what a pastor says but experts on what Jesus said!

GOD TOLD THE WOMAN THROUGH THE PROPHET WHAT TO DO.
SHE HAD TO DO SOMETHING.
Collect jars / fill the jars / ask neighbors for jars / etc.

FAITH IS NOT JUST A BELIEF IT IS AN ACTION BASED ON WHAT YOU BELIEVE.

What use is it, my brethren, if someone says he has faith but he has no works? Can that faith save him? If a brother or sister is without clothing and in need of daily food, and one of you says to them, “Go in peace, be warmed and be filled,” and yet you do not give them what is necessary for their body, what use is that? Even so faith, if it has no works, is dead, being by itself. But someone may well say, “You have faith and I have works; show me your faith without the works, and I will show you my faith by my works.”
It is not enough to simply pray for the Lord to bless your children.
Begin to pray, “Lord how am I to bless my children”?
Then act on it. Do it! Put your faith in action.
It is not enough to seek the wisdom of God if you are too afraid to deliver that wisdom.

The Prophet asked the woman what do you have in your house?
She already had the seed to the miracle.
And you my dear moms, already have everything you need.
seeing that His divine power has granted to us everything pertaining to life and godliness, through the true knowledge of Him who called us by His own glory and excellence.
YOUR FAMILY NEEDS YOU MOMS TO BECOME SEEKERS OF GOD’S WISDOM.
MOMS WHO ACT IN FAITH AND TAKE INITIIVE TO BRING GOD’S WISDOM INTO THEIR HOMES.
MOMS WHO KNOW GOD THROUGH JESUS AND BY THE HOLY SPIRIT HAVE EVERYTHING THEY NEED.
MOMS WHO BECOME EXPERTS IN JESUS - GOD’S WISDOM - FOR THE BLESSING OF THEIR FAMILIES.
