Today’s High Priest

A.D. 70

the Roman Empire under General Titus destroyed Jerusalem, and the temple

without the temple all priests and levites duties were ended

the sacrifices were ended

the High priest was probably killed without a successor

all temple worship was stopped

no more feasts the levitical way

no more coming to Jerusalem to the feasts

Even though all of the sacrifices were all pointing to Jesus

the feasts were pointing to Jesus

so these were outdated because Jesus on the cross fulfilled them.

the Jews who were not christian were still doing these sacrifices at the time of destruction

This temple we know was the way of life for the Jewish people

At this time the Jewish people were scattered throughout the world

after WWII the Jews started coming back to Israel and in 1948 Israel became a nation once again

in the 6 day war of June 1967 the temple mount was liberated by the Israeli Army

it was a day of celebration knowing that their beloved holy sit was back into the hands of Israel

The Torah was read there and the Shofar was blown there on Mount Zion

“For some two thousand years the Temple Mount was forbidden to the Jews. Until you came — you, the paratroopers — and returned it to the bosom of the nation. The Western Wall, for which every heart beats, is ours once again. Many Jews have taken their lives into their hands throughout our long history, in order to reach Jerusalem and live here. Endless words of longing have expressed the deep yearning for Jerusalem that beats within the Jewish heart..You have been given the great privilege of completing the circle, of returning to the nation its capital and its holy center…Jerusalem is yours forever.” –Commander Motta Gur to his brigade upon their recapture of Jerusalem’s Old City and holy sites

but before they could do anything to make the Temple mount theirs the  Prime Minister Levi Eshkol met with the spiritual leaders of different faiths in his office and issued a declaration of peace, assuring that all holy sites would be protected and that all faiths would be free to worship at their holy sites in Jerusalem. He declared his intention to give the spiritual leaders of the various religions internal management of their own Holy Sites. Defense Minister Dayan immediately ceded internal administrative control of the Temple Mount compound to the Jordanian Waqf (Islamic trust) while overall security control of the area was maintained by Israel. Dayan announced that Jews would be allowed to visit the Temple Mount, but not to hold religious services there.

so as of today Islam still controls the temple mount

a Jew or Christian as of just a few years ago could not even even openly pray there

If someone was caught there would be retaliation by the muslims at the dome of the rock

there would be riots and blood shed

The Jews today are looking forward to reestablishing these sacrifices but they need the temple mount to do this.

Daniel 9 27

The Antichrist is the he of V 27

this will be at the beginning of the 7 final years of this age

Known as the tribulation

the second 1/2 as the great tribulation

Satan also called the dragon’s kingdom in Revelation

And the dragon stood on the sand of the seashore. Then I saw a beast coming up out of the sea, having ten horns and seven heads, and on his horns were ten diadems, and on his heads were blasphemous names. And the beast which I saw was like a leopard, and his feet were like those of a bear, and his mouth like the mouth of a lion. And the dragon gave him his power and his throne and great authority.

where he will reign through his man called the beast Rev 13 3

And I saw one of his heads as if it had been slain fatally, and his fatal wound was healed. And the whole earth marveled and followed after the beast.

so this man called the beast will make a peace deal with Israel

In fact this man is going to come onto this worlds scene as a peace maker

as a fixer of all the worlds problems

the kings of this world will turn over their empires to him

The beginning of this empire will be the signing of the peace treaty with Israel

they are going to be so tired of war by this time that they will sign this treaty

V 27 for 1 week =7 years

But in the middle of the week

3.5 years

All of this introduction for this

the sacrifices will cease

where? in the new temple on the temple mount

the temple worship system will once again begin and be like it was at the time of Jesus

so that brings us to

Today

The Temple Institute in Israel is very committed to preparing for the 3rd temple.

all of the utensils have been meticulously researched and made

the priests have been identified by dna

the altars, candlesticks, altars, the table of showbread. are all ready to be used.

the priests have been trained in what they should be doing

they have been taught the law, the levitical sacrifices.

They just need the temple that was lost in AD70

I found out this week that the Temple Institute has appointed a High Priest

now everything has been set in place

given the go ahead they can be sacrificing in less than a week on the temple mount

God’s Timing

some amazing developments have been happening on the temple mount in the past year

A Kohen in 2024 had a full priestly dress dress  blessing and prayer ceremony on the temple mount

without any interference from the enemy

Muslim leaders around the world are slowly giving over the rights to Israel for the use of the mount

when God says it’s time for the 3rd Temple to be built nothing or no one in this world world will be able to stop it

there have been incredible archaeological finds in Israel in the past years

one is the presumed location of the temple gold that is on the copper scroll

as far as I know this is the only copper scroll

it was found with the dead sea scrolls

and this location has been deciphered. but the site has been protected by Israel and not unearthed as of yet

the Jews believe they know where the ark of the covenant is and will bring it out when ready

All this to ask

How Close Is The Rapture?

When the Father inspects the New Jerusalem that Jesus has been preparing for His bride

And the Father says. It is ready Go and get your bride

1 Thessalonians 4:16–18 LSB

For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first. Then we who are alive and remain will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air, and so we shall always be with the Lord. Therefore comfort one another with these words.

Comfort one another

this is a message of comfort

I believe Jesus is coming soon
