A Word of Wisdom:
A Word of Wisdom:
15 Be very careful, then, how you live—not as unwise but as wise,
16 making the most of every opportunity, because the days are evil.
17 Therefore do not be foolish, but understand what the Lord’s will is.
This message seems obvious, but it is very important.
You would be surprised how very few people care to be careful… care to make the most of every opportunity
I’m sure many of us in this room live with regret of missed opportunity AND unwise living… so don’t let this pass you by…
I’m sure each of you are at a stage where you feel like nothing can harm you. Nothing can hurt you…
You feel as though you are invincible. You have the world before you, but we do not know how long each of us have in this world.
So as you begin to see new opportunities, new challenges, I want to encourage you to live wisely
Not wasting a moment, but wholeheartedly pursuing the Lord in everything
There is excitement, AND there is heartache in the future for everyone of you… But there is a indescribable joy that comes from Jesus that comes from a relationship with Him
And my hope and prayer is that each of you will live life wisely pursuing Jesus
Having Him as the center of everything you do
And making the most of every day, sharing his gospel and being a light in this dark world
And as we close, I wanna share one final passage
5Trust in the Lord with all your heart,
And lean not on your own understanding;
6In all your ways acknowledge Him,
And He shall direct your paths.
When life gets hard when you come to the end of your rope, and when you find yourself not living wisely
Run to Jesus… do lean on your own understanding but lean on HIM
and with that…
and with that…
Let’s go ahead and take a moment and pray for our High School Graduates…
