Intro

Today I am going to start by ready my text from Daniel. The book of Daniel has just been hard for me to get away from the last few weeks.
There are so many points to look at in this book, and even though some we have heard since we were a child. They are still so relevant to our lives as an adult. So if you can lets stand for this short reading of Daniel 5: 10-12
Daniel 5:10–12 ESV
10 The queen, because of the words of the king and his lords, came into the banqueting hall, and the queen declared, “O king, live forever! Let not your thoughts alarm you or your color change. 11 There is a man in your kingdom in whom is the spirit of the holy gods. In the days of your father, light and understanding and wisdom like the wisdom of the gods were found in him, and King Nebuchadnezzar, your father—your father the king—made him chief of the magicians, enchanters, Chaldeans, and astrologers, 12 because an excellent spirit, knowledge, and understanding to interpret dreams, explain riddles, and solve problems were found in this Daniel, whom the king named Belteshazzar. Now let Daniel be called, and he will show the interpretation.”
Lets pray over the message today…
You may be seated…
Here we have this man in the Bible, Daniel
some know Him as the
Man in the lions den
The friend of the 3 hebrew boys
The Vision Teller or dream reader
In This book we find enough stories to have a pretty good description of Daniel.
I mean the story of The Lions Den is enough for me to respect the guy right?
Sermon Points
The World will try to name you, But…Gods named and claimed you already, If you'll quit trying to conform to this World and you will bleed instead of trying to blend.

7 And the chief of the eunuchs gave them names: Daniel he called Belteshazzar, Hananiah he called Shadrach, Mishael he called Meshach, and Azariah he called Abednego.

Belteshazzar is a Babylonian name given to the prophet Daniel, meaning "Bel, protect the king" or "Bel's prince". It was a common practice in the Babylonian court to give new names to those of noble or royal lineage, and Belteshazzar was Daniel's Babylonian name. The name was likely intended to assimilate Daniel into the Babylonian culture and possibly alienate him from his own religion. The name Belteshazzar is associated with Bel, a major Babylonian god
People Will Remember! But…
Daniel 5:10–12 ESV
11 There is a man in your kingdom in whom is the spirit of the holy gods.
God will use you, But remember the enemy doesnt like it. So dont be confused when just like Daniel people didnt like Him being so great. And being used so they schemed to bring him down.

3 Then this Daniel became distinguished above all the other high officials and satraps, because an excellent spirit was in him. And the king planned to set him over the whole kingdom. 4 Then the high officials and the satraps sought to find a ground for complaint against Daniel with regard to the kingdom, but they could find no ground for complaint or any fault, because he was faithful, and no error or fault was found in him. 5 Then these men said, “We shall not find any ground for complaint against this Daniel unless we find it in connection with the law of his God.”

The Same God: Will make a way!!
He chose to bleed… not blend

10 When Daniel knew that the document had been signed, he went to his house where he had windows in his upper chamber open toward Jerusalem. He got down on his knees three times a day and prayed and gave thanks before his God, as he had done previously
