Devotion Title: “Faithful in the Small Things”
Scripture: Luke 16:10 (NKJV)
“He who is faithful in what is least is faithful also in much; and he who is unjust in what is least is unjust also in much.”
1. Faithfulness in Small Things Reflects Character
Jesus reminds us that our trustworthiness in the “little things” is a reflection of who we truly are.
Leadership in the church often involves unseen, unglamorous moments—returning a call, checking on a widow, preparing for a meeting, praying over a name.
These small acts matter greatly in the eyes of the Lord.
2. God Often Uses the Small to Entrust the Greater
Many of the great leaders in Scripture began with humble tasks: David with sheep, Joseph with household chores, the disciples with fishing nets.
When we are faithful in the day-to-day responsibilities of serving God’s people, we position ourselves to be used for even greater things.
3. Your Quiet Faithfulness is Seen by God
You may not always get thanked. It may feel like no one notices.
But God sees every act of faithfulness, and He is the rewarder of those who diligently serve (Hebrews 6:10).
We’re not just making decisions—we’re setting a spiritual example, and God is honored by your diligence.
Closing Encouragement
As we meet tonight, let’s remember that every agenda item, prayer, and conversation is part of our stewardship. Be encouraged—your faithfulness in what may seem small is kingdom work.
