Translation: Hebrews 11:20-31
20 By faith also, concerning things to come, Isaac blessed Jacob and Esau. 21 By faith Jacob, when he was dying, blessed each of the sons of Joseph, and he bowed in worship upon the high point of his staff. 22 By faith Joseph, as he came to the end of his life, kept in mind the promise regarding the exodus of the sons of Israel, and he gave orders regarding his bones.
23 By faith Moses, when he was born, was hidden for three months by his parents, because they saw that the child was beautiful and they did not fear the king’s decree. 24 By faith Moses, when he was grown, refused to be known as the son of Pharaoh's daughter; 25 He preferred to be mistreated with the people of God rather than to have the short-lived gratification that comes from sin. 26 He considered bearing disgrace for the Messiah to be greater wealth than the treasures of Egypt, for he was focusing his eyes on the recompense.
27 By faith he left Egypt, not fearing the indignation of the king, for he remained steadfast because he was fixing his gaze on the Invisible One. 28 By faith he celebrated the Passover and the sprinkling of the blood, in order that the Destroyer of the firstborn might not harm them.
29 By faith the Israelites crossed through the Red Sea as through dry land, but the Egyptians, when they attempted the same, were swallowed up. 30 By faith the walls of Jericho fell down after being circled for seven days. 31 By faith Rahab the prostitute did not perish with those who disobeyed, because she welcomed the spies with peace.
