Paul
Conversion
Conversion
Acts 7- stoning of Stephen
Acts 9- the road to damascus
a man in line to be the next great leader of the Jews
if he would have just kept doing as he was before meeting Jesus
who he was dies in the water
he is raised in a newness of life because of Jesus
Mission
Mission
Acts 14- after Damascus Paul sets out to right his wrongs and persuade as many as he can of Christ
it often goes about as it does in this chapter
he helps people and teaches them of the real and living God rather than the stones and wood they have made
the same leaders who plotted to kill Jesus plot to kill his apostles
people with power don’t want their authority challenged
Paul continues on even after being stoned to death
Writing
Writing
he builds these relationships and writes letters with the churches of each area to keep up with and to help them
Paul wants to keep people unified in Christ when the world tries to tear them apart by so many different means
Hebrew traditions as they concern gentile Christians
conflicts among families
challenges to who the savior was and how he came
summed up in Ephesians 4-
if we would all try to be for one
if we would all try to be worthy of the task we’ve been given
we would not run in to so many problems within the church
Application
Application
Paul began serving Christ later in his life
it doesn’t matter when you decide that this is the most important thing
but if you’re going to wear the name it must be the most important thing
