Hello Church Family,
As we step into these longer and warmer days of summer, I want to take a moment to thank each of you for the ways you continue to share the love, faith, and unity that makes Gill Memorial Baptist Church so special. Whether through worship, service, prayer, or quiet acts of kindness, your presence and faithfulness are a true blessing. So again, thank you for being apart of this church.
Summer is often a season of movement. We have family vacations, outdoor activities, and changing schedules, but it can also be a time of spiritual renewal. As you go out and enjoy the beauty of God’s creation, I want to encourage you to stay rooted in the Lord. Let the long days and warm evenings be a reminder of the light we carry as followers of Christ.
We have many opportunities ahead of us to grow together and serve: from youth and children’s camps to Bible studies, VBS, and summer worship services. I invite you to stay connected, get involved where you can, and continue supporting one another, and our church with the same grace and joy that define our GMBC family.
For those traveling in the weeks ahead, know that you are in our prayers. And if you’re staying close to home, we look forward to seeing you often. Wherever this summer takes you, may it be filled with peace, rest, and a deeper awareness of God’s presence. “Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.” (Matthew 11:28)
In Christ,
Pastor David
