2 Timothy 4:1–5 “I charge you in the presence of God and of Christ Jesus, who is to judge the living and the dead, and by his appearing and his kingdom: preach the word; be ready in season and out of season; reprove, rebuke, and exhort, with complete patience and teaching. For the time is coming when people will not endure sound teaching, but having itching ears they will accumulate for themselves teachers to suit their own passions, and will turn away from listening to the truth and wander off into myths. As for you, always be sober-minded, endure suffering, do the work of an evangelist, fulfill your ministry.”
Key Point of the Reformation was the centrality of the Word and the Gospel. Therefore, we want to encourage you to continue through the summer to hunger and thirst after sound teaching.

Upcoming in the Fall
As we look ahead to the fall, we’re excited to offer more opportunities for you and your family to engage in small group community. One returning opportunity we’re planning is Central Suppers—a chance to gather regularly with a diverse group of people around a shared meal and God’s Word. We believe this kind of fellowship is essential to cultivating unity in the church. Registration will open in late summer, and we can’t wait for you to be part of it!

Missions
Missions
Psalm 22:25–28 “From you comes my praise in the great congregation; my vows I will perform before those who fear him. The afflicted shall eat and be satisfied; those who seek him shall praise the Lord! May your hearts live forever! All the ends of the earth shall remember and turn to the Lord, and all the families of the nations shall worship before you. For kingship belongs to the Lord, and he rules over the nations.”
Missions is an opportunity from God to his church to participate in his great vision to be worshipped by all the families of the world. If we go back to September, when we unveiled the different short term mission opportunities, we had several new opportunities that we pitched to help mobilize more of you in missions. I can say God has blessed us. We have seen many of those attending our trips being first timers to Starkville, Charlotte, Evansville and our upcoming trips as well.
We have taken teams to new places as members and staff have impacted new areas for Christ like Sri Lanka, Dubai, and Nepal. This trend will continue as we send teams to Canada and New York and other parts of the world.
