Leave your father and mother, and cling to your spouse.

What is the purpose of marriage?

Love and Companionship.

For the procreation of mankind.

For the physical pleasure of mankind.

To aid in temptation toward sexual immorality.

The Roles Within Marriage:

Husbands are to love their wives as their own bodies.

Be Gentle and Patient.

Men Image Christ.

Wives are to submit to their husbands in all things.

Wives image the church.

What of those who aren’t married?
