Open Heart Surgery (Psalm 26:2)
Open Heart Surgery (Psalm 26:2)
Examine - To inspect carefully, with a view to discover truth or the real state of a thing.
Open-heart surgery involves a large incision in the chest to access and operate on the heart.
Sometimes it is good to go to the great Physician and have him do an examination on our heart.
Who needs open heart surgery?

Genesis 6:5 “And God saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually.”
Psalm 53:1–4 “The fool hath said in his heart, There is no God. Corrupt are they, and have done abominable iniquity: There is none that doeth good. God looked down from heaven upon the children of men, To see if there were any that did understand, that did seek God. Every one of them is gone back: they are altogether become filthy; There is none that doeth good, no, not one. Have the workers of iniquity no knowledge? Who eat up my people as they eat bread: They have not called upon God.”

Psalm 95:8–11 “Harden not your heart, as in the provocation, And as in the day of temptation in the wilderness: When your fathers tempted me, Proved me, and saw my work. Forty years long was I grieved with this generation, And said, It is a people that do err in their heart, And they have not known my ways: Unto whom I sware in my wrath That they should not enter into my rest.”
Ephesians 4:17–19 “This I say therefore, and testify in the Lord, that ye henceforth walk not as other Gentiles walk, in the vanity of their mind, Having the understanding darkened, being alienated from the life of God through the ignorance that is in them, because of the blindness of their heart: Who being past feeling have given themselves over unto lasciviousness, to work all uncleanness with greediness.”
Past feeling - calloused, to be or become unfeeling without shame

Faulty Heart
An artificial heart is a mechanical pump that replaces the ventricles in your heart when they aren’t working as they should.
It functions just like a regular heart would, but it’s still not a heart.
Plague of Frogs (Pharoah saw judgement, wanted it gone, when he saw respite, he hardened his heart)
Respite - the feeling that comes when something burdensome is removed or reduced.
If he was truly repentant, he would’ve let the children of Israel go.
The rich young ruler kept the commandments, but his heart was still faulty.
