Intro
Daniel could be partly title King Neb’s Foibles
The first section is filled with God doing a number on him
Today we see the culmination

I Thought It Good vs. 1-3

Daniel 4:1–3 ESV
King Nebuchadnezzar to all peoples, nations, and languages, that dwell in all the earth: Peace be multiplied to you! It has seemed good to me to show the signs and wonders that the Most High God has done for me. How great are his signs, how mighty his wonders! His kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and his dominion endures from generation to generation.
King Neb addresses his kingdom
It’s a last thought & testimony
Everything after vs. 3 is a flashback
The first three verses are a declaration to the kingdom that you better glorify God
King Neb says “I thought it would be good”
That is bible talk for saying, “You may be wondering how I ended up here?”
I, the most powerful king, thought it would be good to declare the signs and wonder of the Most High God
Do you realize how difficult it had to be for King Ned to say that?
Don’t miss the signs
King Neb was given two dreams
His works are mighty
His Kingdom is higher and lasts longer than mine

I Had Another Dream vs. 4-18

vs. 4 chillin and prospering in my crib
vs. 5 A troubling dream
vs. 6-7 Called the Wise men but nothing
vs. 8-9 Called in Daniel
vs. 10-12 Magnificent Tree
vs. 13-15a Chop the tree down and bound the stump
vs 15b-16 Tranform to a beast for 7 years
vs. 18 Daniel, you are able
