"hid from the wise and prudent"

Heavenly Father we come before you in Christ Yahusha’s Holy Name, to praise and thank you for all things given in His name. Thank you Jesus for our Salvation in you and all our gifts from above. As we study today together, we thank you for your presence among us, where 2 or more are gathered, there you are., and shall we agree as touching anything we ask in your Name, it shall be done of our Father in Heaven. Thank you for cleaning our hearts, minds and thoughts as we study in your Word, and thank you for blessing us with the Holy Spirit, our Comforter, guide, and interpreter as we learn your Way. We praise your Holy Name, so be it!
Last week we covered Chapter 11 briefly but, at the end of the chapter in verse 25, He said some interesting things, as usual.
Matthew 11:25 “25 At that time Jesus answered and said, I thank thee, O Father, Lord of heaven and earth, because thou hast hid these things from the wise and prudent, and hast revealed them unto babes.”
Job 37:24 “24 Men do therefore fear him: He respecteth not any that are wise of heart.”
1 Corinthians 1:19 “19 For it is written, I will destroy the wisdom of the wise, and will bring to nothing the understanding of the prudent.” ,
1 Corinthians 1:27 “27 But God hath chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise; and God hath chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty;”
1 Corinthians 2:8 “8 Which none of the princes of this world knew: for had they known it, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory.”
2 Corinthians 3:14 “14 But their minds were blinded: for until this day remaineth the same vail untaken away in the reading of the old testament; which vail is done away in Christ.”
In Matthew 11:26 “26 Even so, Father: for so it seemed good in thy sight.” All knowing, the plan from the beginning...bereshit, back to good, when YHWH creates it, it is GOOD. Then comes His Divinity in verse 27...
Matthew 11:27 “27 All things are delivered unto me of my Father: and no man knoweth the Son, but the Father; neither knoweth any man the Father, save the Son, and he to whomsoever the Son will reveal him.”
Then He calls out, in verse 28 “come unto me”...this is Love and compassion in justice, not the blind blanket love the world teaches...
Matthew 11:28–30 “28 Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. 29 Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. 30 For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.”
He is calling all sinners, no matter what our sins are. He is calling me, you, and anyone humble enough to admit they’re sinners, who need rest, who are tired of pissing in the wind, swinging at the fences, struggling, fighting with no purpose, and looking for peace, rest. The world is broken and busted, looking for happiness, their best life, with a huge HOLE in their hearts, struggling to fill it with new things, different things, change, ...try this, try that, but The LORD says…
Proverbs 24:21 “21 My son, fear thou the Lord and the king: And meddle not with them that are given to change:” Unstable, lost, carried or tossed to and fro...
Ephesians 4:14 “14 That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive;” (Dividing, race/ethnicity, gender, economics, education, color, family name...etc. )
This is how we all come to the LORD...broken!
(Yeah that’s not just me, but I came broken, and busted.)
Matthew 21:44 “44 And whosoever shall fall on this stone shall be broken: but on whomsoever it shall fall, it will grind him to powder.”
Having done all to stand without the Armor of YHWH, we simply need to humbly surrender to the Almighty, you cannot win without Christ, as He tells us,
the answer to verse 14 is in Eph 4:15-32
Ephesians 4:15–32 KJV 1900
15 But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ: 16 From whom the whole body fitly joined together and compacted by that which every joint supplieth, according to the effectual working in the measure of every part, maketh increase of the body unto the edifying of itself in love. 17 This I say therefore, and testify in the Lord, that ye henceforth walk not as other Gentiles walk, in the vanity of their mind, 18 Having the understanding darkened, being alienated from the life of God through the ignorance that is in them, because of the blindness of their heart: 19 Who being past feeling have given themselves over unto lasciviousness, to work all uncleanness with greediness. 20 But ye have not so learned Christ; 21 If so be that ye have heard him, and have been taught by him, as the truth is in Jesus: 22 That ye put off concerning the former conversation the old man, which is corrupt according to the deceitful lusts; 23 And be renewed in the spirit of your mind; 24 And that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness. 25 Wherefore putting away lying, speak every man truth with his neighbour: for we are members one of another. 26 Be ye angry, and sin not: let not the sun go down upon your wrath: 27 Neither give place to the devil. 28 Let him that stole steal no more: but rather let him labour, working with his hands the thing which is good, that he may have to give to him that needeth. 29 Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers. 30 And grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption. 31 Let all bitterness, and wrath, and anger, and clamour, and evil speaking, be put away from you, with all malice: 32 And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ’s sake hath forgiven you.
And again we learn this battle is not of flesh and blood...WE NEED CHRIST and HIS Armor...
Ephesians 6:11–18 “11 Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. 12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. 13 Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. 14 Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness; 15 And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace; 16 Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked. 17 And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God: 18 Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints;
As new men in Christ....We need to make and keep the changes in us as we are told in ...
2 Corinthians 5:17–18 “17 Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new. 18 And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation;”
In Matthew 9:17 “17 Neither do men put new wine into old wineskins: else the wineskins break, and the wine runneth out, and the wineskins perish: but they put new wine into new wineskins, and both are preserved.”
We must put aside our beliefs, superstitions, and teachings of this world and dive into TRUTH! The Way, Truth And the Life...Christ Himself! As no one comes to the Father except through Him...John 14:6-7
John 14:6–7 KJV 1900
6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. 7 If ye had known me, ye should have known my Father also: and from henceforth ye know him, and have seen him.
As we spoke of earlier, make a stand in Truth and in Love....working out our own salvation with fear and trembling by pulling out the hooks of evil, bringing all of our sinful ways and habits humbly before the LORD for forgiveness, and strength in Him to stand, with the Armor of Him and His Blessings! In these simple steps...
Proverbs 3:5–6 KJV 1900
5 Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; And lean not unto thine own understanding. 6 In all thy ways acknowledge him, And he shall direct thy paths.
Accept Christ and all His teachings...
Ephesians 4:14 “14 That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive;” (Dividing, race/ethnicity, gender, economics, education, color, family name...etc. )
Putting on the Armor of YHWH!
Ephesians 6:11 KJV 1900
11 Put on the whole armor of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.
Remember the 2 most important Commandments...
Matthew 22:37 KJV 1900
37 Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.
Matthew 22:39 KJV 1900
39 And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.
Just DO IT, DO IT!
Blessed is He that comes in the Name YAHU-SHUA.... YHWH SAVES!
