Now, we consider the beauty of creation!
The creation reflects the creator.
Jesus was active in Creation! “Made through Him”
Jesus was active then and Jesus is active now!
For by him all things were created, in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities—all things were created through him and for him.
And he is before all things, and in him all things hold together.
Jesus is still active.
Imagine a world without Jesus.
Schools (literacy), hospitals, care for widows and orphans, disaster relief.
As we see the good in the world, we are reminded of Jesus.
The heavens declare the glory of God, and the sky above proclaims his handiwork.
Look around and worship Jesus.
Creation Reveals Victory
Creation Reveals Victory
vv. 4-5, 9
“Life finds a way.”
Dr. Ian Malcolm / Jeff Goldblum
Jesus, as life, is victorious! Sin & death.
Light always overcomes darkness.
And God said, “Let there be light,” and there was light.
And God saw that the light was good. And God separated the light from the darkness.
God called the light Day, and the darkness he called Night. And there was evening and there was morning, the first day.
So when Jesus dwelt among us (v. 14), He was bringing to us the victory.
A victory we get to proclaim!
Wednesday night’s Thunder victory. Getting to celebrate it in community.
“We” won! Did “we”??
In Christ, we won.
Now we get to proclaim this victory to others!
