The Restoration of Thomas

The disciples testified to him but would not believe it.

The Sea of Galilee and the Reinstating of Peter

Restoration After Denial – Jesus was giving him the opportunity to reaffirm his love and commitment, effectively restoring him.

Commissioning Peter – Each time Peter affirmed his love, Jesus responded with a command: "Feed my lambs," "Take care of my sheep," and "Feed my sheep."

This signified Peter’s role as a leader in the early Church, entrusted with guiding and nurturing believers.

The Great Commission – In Matthew 28:16-20

Jesus gave his disciples the mission to go and make disciples of all nations.

This moment marked the beginning of their global ministry. This meeting was a turning point,

transforming the disciples from followers into leaders of the early church.

500 people isn't clearly stated in the Bible, but it is mentioned in 1 Corinthians 15:6, where Paul says that Jesus “appeared to more than five hundred brothers at once.”

May have happened in Galilee, possibly during the same gathering where Jesus gave the Great Commission.
