Opening Scripture:

Isaiah 43:18–19 NLT
“But forget all that— it is nothing compared to what I am going to do. For I am about to do something new. See, I have already begun! Do you not see it? I will make a pathway through the wilderness. I will create rivers in the dry wasteland.
During this time Israel was in exile in Babylon
God used the prophet Isiah to bring forth a message of hope, restoration, and deliverance.
In the midst of dealing with the pain of bondage God was reminding His people of His power and who He is.
In the midst of what Israel was dealing with God was calling them into the NEW..
When God call’s us into a NEW thing it requires us to leave something or somethings behind
Not everyone is equipped to handle the level of newness that God has prepared for you

Embrace God’s Love…

Lamentations 3:22–23 NLT
The faithful love of the Lord never ends! His mercies never cease. Great is his faithfulness; his mercies begin afresh each morning.
In order for us to Embrace Newness we MUST first embrace God’s Love
God’s LOVE is rooted within His faithfulness towards us
God’s faithfulness is what gives us the gift of salvation
Each morning is a blessing from God for as the word declares His mercies begin afresh
With each new day there is a chance for grace
Apart of embracing God’s love is by NOT taking it for granted.
Apart of embracing God’s love is by NOT abusing it for personal pleasure
If we say that we truly love God and have recieved His love we must be willing to let go of the pleasures of this life in which dishonors God.
The more we embrace God’s love the more we embrace His faithfulness. The more we embrace His faithfulness the more we become faithful!

Embrace God’s Salvation…

2 Corinthians 5:17 NLT
This means that anyone who belongs to Christ has become a new person. The old life is gone; a new life has begun.
We Embrace God’s salvation when we make a decision to 1) Turn away from our life of Sin (repentance) and 2) we call upon the name of Jesus inviting and receiving Him into our lives/hearts by faith as our personal Lord and Savior.
When we Embrace Jesus and receive salvation we enter into a place where we can be transformed…
God requires Newness at every level in our lives…
Salvation is the first call from God for us to enter into newness…
We often miss the call of God to receive anything new including salvation because we have become so distracted by the things of this life…
The enemy knows that the more he can keep you distracted the longer he can keep you away from victory
The new place that God is calling you to is a place called victory!!
The first step to receiving victory is through a relationship with Jesus.
Are you embracing Salvation?

Embrace A Transformed Heart…

Ezekiel 36:26 NLT
And I will give you a new heart, and I will put a new spirit in you. I will take out your stony, stubborn heart and give you a tender, responsive heart.
Through Jesus we have Salvation… Upon receiving salvation God creates within us a new heart…
Our heart before Christ is wicked and full of Sin… That’s why when we do sin we don’t feel any type of conviction
Our heart before Christ is also suborn we are stuck in our ways full of pride and for some full of envy and anger.
In order for us to receive anything from God our hearts MUST be receptive to who He is
As God gives us a new heart we are responsible for maintaining it
We maintain our new transformed heart by staying connected to the presence of God through His word and prayer..
We maintain our new transformed heart by finding practical ways to put God’s word to work in our lives
We maintain our new transformed heart by allowing God to lead us and guide us through the Holy Spirit what to pray for.
The more we keep our hearts connect to God’s the more grace we will experience…
When we walk with a new heart God begins to open doors for us that lead us into more newness
When God opens a new door He closes and former door…
What doors are God opening and closing in your life?
