What a mother is

What a mother treasures

In Proverbs 31, we find a picture of a noble mother—a treasure in her family. She is described not just for her deeds, but for the love that drives them. She nurtures her children, supports her husband, and manages her household with grace. This depiction reminds us that the treasures mothers hold are not gold but love, wisdom, and the lasting impact they leave in their children's lives.
In Luke 2:19, we read that Mary treasured up all these things and pondered them in her heart. As she reflected on the miracle of her son, the Savior of the world, it highlights how mothers uniquely capture moments of joy, worry, and hope. These moments are precious treasures that shape their faith and character. Like Mary, our mothers teach us the importance of cherishing and reflecting on our experiences.
