Introduction...
Most people have their routines that they do. some form of dailey routine. some people wake up and do this or that first. when you first get to your job in the morning. TALK, EXAMPLES.......
we just love it when everything is going the way we like it to go...in order so to speak.
just living life without a care in the world. things are so good that sometimes we forget to thank God or evening include Him, in the good times. TALK, PREACH......
but no sooner then things start going a different direction...we can call on Him thing and want to include Him...
when our routine gets messed up...do you panic, do you shut down, do disappear and try to hide.
or maybe you have uttered these words, What are we going to do now?
the flesh takes over for a second but those that are truly grounded in Christ, know how to bounce back.
but those that do not have that solid relationship with Him, the devil will have a field day with you...
you wonder why things are not getting better or easier, Have you truly tried Him
problems keep piling up...Have you truly given it over to Him
you don’t know how to proceed with the problems....
and you don’t feel protected during your problems, feels like you are all by yourself...
you truly don’t know who He is and what He is capable of...
let me give you a personal example, story of flat tire on my car...
(problems arise, problems pile up, didn’t proceed correctly, car rolled off jack, consulted the Lord, protection during my problem)..TALK, PREACH......
now this is a simple situation, but there are some things that may bigger going on in your life through you finances, your health, your job, your home life and so on but through it all we need to understand things that scripture has told us about...
Job 14:1 “Man that is born of a woman Is of few days, and full of trouble.”
1 Corinthians 10:13 “There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.”
Matthew 28:20 “Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.”
and with the help of brother Job, we will see that even though the PROBLEMS PILE UP, God gots us, WE MUST REMEMBER HOW TO PROCEED THRU THE PROBLEM, with God, and thru it all HE IS OUR PROTECTION DURING OUR PROBLEMS
Help us out Job....let’s walk in the text....

Story...
The story of Job...
a story that if you have been around church, you should have heard of the plight of brother Job.
(overview of Job)
however this book helps us with so many things, just to touch on a few..
why do bad things happen to good people
what a person’s outlook and attitude should be towards suffering
how we should respond to suffering
how thru this suffering we become stronger in our relationship and be a stronger witness to other
Spiritually it helps,
expose satan as our adversary
prove a true believers faith
to stir people to repent
to show how weak we really are away from God
And the list goes on...
Few is any of us will ever suffer as much as Job did. Yet during our lives, most of us will face some serious trials and severe suffering. therefore the question arises: Will we continue to trust and love the Lord when times get tough? Will we be faithful to God when things do not go our way?..TALK, PREACH.....
He alone can heal our wounds and strengthen us through the trials and sufferings of life.
Psalm 34:19 “Many are the afflictions of the righteous: But the Lord delivereth him out of them all.” TALK, PREACH.......
so once again as the PROBLEMS PILE UP, stay trusting, PROCEED THRU THE PROBLEMS, trusting, and know that God is OUR PROTECTION DURING OUR PROBLEMS...
Let’s look at Job...
Points....
Points....
PROBLEMS PILE UP....
Job 1:14–19 “And there came a messenger unto Job, and said, The oxen were plowing, and the asses feeding beside them: And the Sabeans fell upon them, and took them away; yea, they have slain the servants with the edge of the sword; and I only am escaped alone to tell thee. While he was yet speaking, there came also another, and said, The fire of God is fallen from heaven, and hath burned up the sheep, and the servants, and consumed them; and I only am escaped alone to tell thee. While he was yet speaking, there came also another, and said, The Chaldeans made out three bands, and fell upon the camels, and have carried them away, yea, and slain the servants with the edge of the sword; and I only am escaped alone to tell thee. While he was yet speaking, there came also another, and said, Thy sons and thy daughters were eating and drinking wine in their eldest brother’s house: And, behold, there came a great wind from the wilderness, and smote the four corners of the house, and it fell upon the young…”
His property and his children.....problems pile up
Job 2:7 “So went Satan forth from the presence of the Lord, and smote Job with sore boils from the sole of his foot unto his crown.”
His health....problems pile up...
Job 2:9 “Then said his wife unto him, Dost thou still retain thine integrity? curse God, and die.”
His wife turns on God...problems pile up....
we need to understand that first if you allow satan to come in, he is coming in like a mad man..We should expect that he will maximize any advantage given to him.
he wants the problems to pile up so you will not focus on the Lord...
I do not know what is going on in your life but you may have some problems building up as we seated in the house today...
remember what Job said over in chapter 14, Job 14:1 “Man that is born of a woman Is of few days, and full of trouble.”
church there will be bad days, as a friend of mine once told me, if you stay ready, you wont have to get ready...TALK, PREACH......
some folks think that they are to good for problems, to Holy for problems...
but I heard Job say, Job 2:10 “But he said unto her, Thou speakest as one of the foolish women speaketh. What? shall we receive good at the hand of God, and shall we not receive evil? In all this did not Job sin with his lips.”
when you are doing the will of God, like Denzel Washington said, that is when the devil is gonna mess with...
what you say Paul, Romans 7:21 “I find then a law, that, when I would do good, evil is present with me.” ...TALK, PREACH.......
so Job shows up that problems will pile up and we should be ready to proceed with them...
PROCEED THRU THE PROBLEMS,...
How do we do that?
what you say Job....
Job 1:21 “And said, Naked came I out of my mother’s womb, And naked shall I return thither: The Lord gave, and the Lord hath taken away; Blessed be the name of the Lord.”
Job 1:22 “In all this Job sinned not, nor charged God foolishly.”
Job 2:10 “But he said unto her, Thou speakest as one of the foolish women speaketh. What? shall we receive good at the hand of God, and shall we not receive evil? In all this did not Job sin with his lips.”
Job 13:15 “Though he slay me, yet will I trust in him: But I will maintain mine own ways before him.”
How do we proceed thru the pile up of problems??
STAY TRUSTING, STAY FAITHFUL, STAY PRAYING, DON’T TURN AGAINST THE LORD....
you need another example, come here david....Psalm 27
Trust: You Never Need to Fear Evil When You Trust God. Ps. 27:1-3.
Trust: You Never Need to Fear Evil When You Trust God. Ps. 27:1-3.

Patience: When You Face Hardship, Be Patient For God’s Timing. Ps. 27:14.
i not gonna read the entire scripture but I love this last one...David said, Psalm 27:14 “Wait on the Lord: Be of good courage, and he shall strengthen thine heart: Wait, I say, on the Lord.”
Let’s run thru those again....TALK, PREACH.......
that’s how you proceed thru those piling up problems...TALK, PREACH.......
so Job’s story tells us that problems will come and pile up but he also shows us how to proceed thru them but we must lastly realize, that we have PROTECTION DURING OUR PROBLEMS...
Job 1:12 “And the Lord said unto Satan, Behold, all that he hath is in thy power; only upon himself put not forth thine hand. So Satan went forth from the presence of the Lord.”
Job 2:6 “And the Lord said unto Satan, Behold, he is in thine hand; but save his life.”
With this God again “lowered the hedge” that protected Job, but He did not eliminate it. Satan was given greater allowance to attack Job, but not unlimited allowance.
Job B. Job’s Conspirators (1:6–12)
Under the purview of his divine sovereignty, God granted Satan permission to attack Job’s life. But Satan’s attack could only go so far. God stipulated, But on the man himself do not lay a finger. The devil was given free access to remove Job’s possessions and loved ones, but he could not touch his body to remove his health. Neither could he take his life.
Psalm 110:1 “The Lord said unto my Lord, Sit thou at my right hand, Until I make thine enemies thy footstool.”
Psalm 46:1 “God is our refuge and strength, A very present help in trouble.”
He is with us before our problems, during our problems and after our problems...
I found this prayer for protection and i want to share it with you,
A Prayer for the Protection of God Father, I want to live in the shadow of Your wing. When life is hard, and I don’t know what to do, help me remember that You are with me and that I am never alone. I cannot live without You. I cannot face tomorrow without the promise of Your presence. Today I choose to walk and live under the protection of You, The Most High. In Jesus' name. Amen.
Conclusion...
Conclusion...
well i am done, but Job has shown us thru his life that problems will come, that we can get thru them with God because God is protecting us during our problems...
he is not gonna let this world put more on you than you can bare...
He has your back and then some...
I stand with confidence because I know
i walk with confidence because i know
what do i know...
because He lives, all fear is gone, because He lives I can face tomorrow....
even though problems will come, My life is worth living because He lives...
Job was under the old covenant but with our new covenant..
we still have a protector during our problems....Jesus, sweet Jesus...
