Testimony

I have several scriptures that completely validate my salvation experience according the the Word of God I will share how they were profoundly instrumental in my life. These are some of the promises of God that became very real to me in my walk with the Lord.

Prior lost state.

I was Born in Vancouver BC,. My dad was a logger and unfortunately he wasn’t home much, dad immigrated to Canada with his parents from England. Dad was a true English man and drank lots of beer most nights of the week, there was no Bible in my home, no prayer or any spiritual direction what so ever.

I begin at early age 1969 to experience drugs, Alcohol, sex and rock and roll. I dabbled in the occult teachings, and begin using hard drugs. I didn’t know from where I came from, where I was going or what would happen if I died. I came close to death a few times both with drugs and car accidents. But through it all God spared my life because He had a plan for me. God’s timing is perfect and knows all things. When I had exhausted all my ways He showed up and shared the good news of Jesus with me through a brother.

I saw evil things humans shouldn’t be exposed to. I had demons literally crawling inside my skin.

I ended up in jail for possession of drugs, jail for theft, deported out of the USA and 5 impaired driving’s. that is just what I got caught for, but now I had a criminal record.

I loved the hippy lifestyle and my dream was to get back to the land and if I did that, that would be my heaven. I met my wife Helen, we got married and moved to Kamloops, then to High Prairie, AB.

The hippy life style brought me up to Salt Prairie AB., Even though I was now in my so called heaven, back up on the land, we were still taking drugs, drinking etc. Where I met the Lord.

A new Creation

2 Corinthians 5:17 “So then, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; what is old has passed away—look, what is new has come!”

Peace that passes understanding

Philippians 4:7 “And the peace of God that surpasses all understanding will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.”

I received this peace instantly after I asked Jesus into my heart. I felt new, full of peace, First time I felt at peace within, joy unspeakable full of Glory!!

1 Peter 1:8 “You have not seen him, but you love him. You do not see him now but you believe in him, ye rejoice with joy unspeakable and full of glory”

Authority in Jesus name.

Dave the man that shared the gospel to me discipled me and gave me those powerful scriptures to speak out which is so important for a new believer to know and use against the enemy. One example at work 12-8 in morning

Luke 10:19 “Look, I have given you authority to tread on snakes and scorpions and on the full force of the enemy, and nothing will hurt you.” I spoke this verse out loud while at work...

1 John 4:4 “You are from God, little children, and have conquered them, because the one who is in you is greater than the one who is in the world.” I spoke this verse continually...

James 4:7 “So submit to God. But resist the devil and he will flee from you.”

Revelation 12:11 “But they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, and they did not love their lives so much that they were afraid to die.”

Begin to attend a church

In High Prairie AB., . I had never taken in a service before except at a marriage or funeral. I was so full of the HS,

Galatians 5:22 “But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness,” I was experiencing all of these thing that the Bible talked about. There were times where God fill me so full of Himself I thought I was going to explode and asked Him to turn it off!!

In my journey I have experienced many miracles, received the gifts of the Spirit, I have been healed (give example Hep C miracle) I wanted to know everything about God, I attended CBC college and was Credentialed as a Pastor, I continued on and received credentials PAOC as Pastor of pray at Bethany church in Whitehorse.

My Family was exposed to the Gospel(story of my sister) My mom, Dad.
