Opening Scripture

1 Peter 5:10 NLT
In his kindness God called you to share in his eternal glory by means of Christ Jesus. So after you have suffered a little while, he will restore, support, and strengthen you, and he will place you on a firm foundation.
In life we face different levels of brokenness most in which require a series of time to heal and recover from
We often times fall into the trap of thinking that after we accept Jesus that we won’t face temptation, or struggle in our life or faith ever again… that is far from the truth
In fact we may discover that we face more hardship, more struggle, and even more temptation after we accept Jesus
The enemy will always throw things at us to try and catch us off guard and to get us to a place where we are separated from the presence of God.
Your brokenness can either push you away from God or bring you closer to God.. IT depends on YOU!
We must remember that God has called us to share in His eternal glory by all that Jesus has done for us…
We will suffer for a little while but He will restore everything that the enemy has taken away
He will strengthen us with His strength so that we can withstand the attacks of the enemy against our mind
He will place us upon a firm foundation that is rooted within His word and promises through Jesus Christ His Son!!

The Foundation For Growth…

James 1:2–4 NLT
Dear brothers and sisters, when troubles of any kind come your way, consider it an opportunity for great joy. For you know that when your faith is tested, your endurance has a chance to grow. So let it grow, for when your endurance is fully developed, you will be perfect and complete, needing nothing.
Scripture teaches us that what the enemy has meant for evil God has turned it around for our Good.
We may not see the good in the midst of the storm
We may not see the good in the midst of the struggle
We may not see the good in the midst of the test
We may not see the good in the midst of the battle
BUT this is where our faith MUST come into play.
When we have the joy of the Lord in our hearts we allow God the opportunity to lay a foundation in which He can build new things on..
We MUST reminds ourselves that it is through the test that our endurance has a chance to grow.
When you are preparing to run a marathon you have to increase your endurance in order to have a fighting chance to win the race.
We don’t come out the womb knowing how to run we have to be trained.
You MUST Train your Spirit how to run this race of life with endurance.
When our spiritual endurance is fully developed we will have all that we need because its then that we are confident in our faith and truly know and understand that all we ever need is God.

The Foundation For Persistence

2 Corinthians 4:16–17 NLT
That is why we never give up. Though our bodies are dying, our spirits are being renewed every day. For our present troubles are small and won’t last very long. Yet they produce for us a glory that vastly outweighs them and will last forever!
While we are in this earthly body we will always face hardship, struggle, and temptation because our flesh is flawed
On the day that we receive Salvation through a relationship with Jesus we choose to give life to our Spirit and shift our focus on Spiritual things…
Without Jesus we would be in a place to where we could be persistent
With Jesus we can be persistent as He will provide us with everything that we need.
As we enter into the new seasons, into the new position, into the new things that God has called us into we must be persistent..
If we enter into a new thing unprepared… in the wrong mindset…. with an ungrateful heart… we will lose everything that God is handing to us.
In order to correctly maintain the blessing you will need to be persistent through everything including your own hardship.
The hardship will only last a little while and the glory of God that we are exposed to will last more than a life time.

Get Ready To Deliver…

John 16:20–22 NLT
I tell you the truth, you will weep and mourn over what is going to happen to me, but the world will rejoice. You will grieve, but your grief will suddenly turn to wonderful joy. It will be like a woman suffering the pains of labor. When her child is born, her anguish gives way to joy because she has brought a new baby into the world. So you have sorrow now, but I will see you again; then you will rejoice, and no one can rob you of that joy.
Jesus told His disciples of the things in which was about to happen to Him — His death and resurrection.
He told them that they would mourn at the sight and even the news to all of the things in which would happen to Him but they would have joy again
Jesus relates this pain to a woman giving birth during labor…
We should understand that the pains of life are birth pains and we are permitted to go through these pains because there is something that God has placed/planted on the inside of us that we need to deliver into the earth…
Through our struggle, through our pain, through our battle there is something NEW that God is trying to brith through us…
Surely the pain is great, it hurts now, it seems unbearable now BUT once it is delivered the joy we develop from doing God’s will can not and will not be taken away from us.
We need to understand that God has a purpose and a plan for everything that we endure and go through in life
We don’t go through these things alone God is always with us!
what is it that God is trying to deliver through you? Don’t hold back… Let it GO!!
