Kingdom Attitude, the Psalm of the Righteous, Access to More, Wells of salvation

Ish 12:1-6

A prophetic word Isaiah brought for Judah. The tone is more like that of a psalm, a song. (what was going on when he wrote this)? A prophetic hyymn of praise, focusing on the deliverance of Judah, just as God made a way for Israel.

A prophetic hymn speaking of our new life in Jesus. It becomes the experience of everyone in Christ Jesus.

What is the joy/ praise all about?

God’s anger is turned away forever. before he was angry, but not anymore. “You will say in that day: “I will give thanks to you, O LORD, for though you were angry with me, your anger turned away, that you might comfort me.” Ish 12:1

That day is the day of salvation. that day is the day we are living in where Jesus has died in our place, the sinless for the sinful, the innocent died for the guilty. in Jesus, we are not just saved from human enemies, we are saved from our age long enemy called satan.

God is my salvation, song and strength. God is my deliverer, h eis my melody and my health. Rejoice for God is your all. God will not just save me, but He is my salvation. He has become my all. my hapiness no longer depends on the worrld around me, but on Him who has become my world!

“Behold, God is my salvation; I will trust, and will not be afraid; for the LORD GOD is my strength and my song, and he has become my salvation” Ish 12:2

It’s a required kingdom attitude. It is as though you can’t access what is available without joy. (nigeria illustration) Joy is the fetcher with which you draw.

We are invited to come boldly to the throne of grace Heb 4:16 . The bold are joyful because they know what is available to them— their expectations are dependent on the God of the kiingdom, not the changing climatic cnditions but with God there is always more available. come boldly, you will not be disappointed.

Joy is the emotion of those in the kingdom of God Rom 14:17

Wells is written in plural, because there is always more after salvation. Salvation is our entry point into the kingdom, it is our access into the supernatural Jhn 3:3 you cannot perceive the kingdom and its realities except you are born again. There are kingdom realities that must manifest in you after salvation. the kingdom of God will be reflected through you.

Satisfaction for yourslef an dothers. Those who drink from the wells of salvation never thirst- Jhn 4:13-14 “Jesus said to her, “Everyone who drinks of this water will be thirsty again, but whoever drinks of the water that I will give him will never be thirsty again. The water that I will give him will become in him a spring of water welling up to eternal life”

this water makes you a well for others. It creates in you wells of life. Rivers of life now flowing from within you-Jhn 7:37. You suddenly become that person others want to be around, you are that person they turn to for counsel, and never say you don.y understand, rather ask the Holy Spirit to show you.

Conclusion: There’s a story in Gen 21:14-19 story of Hagar- sent packing after sin. she had exhauseted her supply, ran out of water such that she was afraid he rson may die. i can relate as a mum, there are days im exhausted, i don’t have strength for myself not to talk of 3 children or others that God has placed in my care, but because i know the living water, and how God has prepared a well, i cry out for His help and i’m refreshed. God want to refresh your soul today, if you will call out to him. How does he want to refresh you? by giving you of the living water Christ Jesus. if you are yet to receive Jesus sas Lord and saviour, i tell you it is only amatter of time, your water supply will run out. and the world is not getting any friendly, my plea and invitation to you is to come to the prepared well and drink!

She was afraid he would die of thirst, but God had prepared a well. you may be on a journey like Hagar, where you think there’s no hope, no redemption, no means of life, but there is a well, where you would not only be refreshed but will make you one to refresh others.

Salvation is the well God has prepared to quench every thirst in life- the thirst for love and acceptance, the thirst for relevance, th ethirst for purpose, thirst for family reconcilation and restoration- salvation is the prepared well.

Matt 11:28-30 , Ish 55:1 “Come, everyone who thirsts, come to the waters; and he who has no money, come, buy and eat! Come, buy wine and milk without money and without price.”

“Let us then with confidence draw near to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need” Heb 4:16
