This next section in the confession is about Christian Living, duty we have in our Christian life towards (the three intsitutions)
What are our God centered freedoms and boundries and so on
Some Great verses

45 and I shall walk in a wide place, for I have sought your precepts.
Romans 8:21 ESV
21 that the creation itself will be set free from its bondage to corruption and obtain the freedom of the glory of the children of God.
1 Corinthians 8:9 ESV
9 But take care that this right of yours does not somehow become a stumbling block to the weak.
2 Corinthians 3:17 ESV
17 Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom.
Galatians 5:1 ESV
1 For freedom Christ has set us free; stand firm therefore, and do not submit again to a yoke of slavery.

21.1

These freedoms are not granted, but purchased by the blood of Christ
The seperation from evil afflications is about that you will no longer because of the evil of sin be sperated from God. Sin is evil.
Liberty purchased - grant privilidges you can see that in the second section

21.2

God alone is the Lord of Conscience. 0 this is the most powerful here, he is the judge of morality.
No man can bind your concnious only God can. No pope, pastor, or any many call overide what God has said. You must obey him not others.
The rejection of these binds was part and parcel of rejecting the trappings of the Roman church that had no bearing on the Christian.
Today the Roman pope can make a decalration, against scripture and you as an RC must believe it,

21.3

This does not mean that your free to sin. Your liberty does not allow you to ignore what God has said, to have nothing bind your concious, you must obey the Lord
You can’t be a true libertarin- yes their is wrong and it must be stopped and punished.
You can’t be an antinomian - you mock the death of Christ when you sin wantonly
