A Lifestyle of Gratitude

When David was Old and full of days. He passed on his kingdom to his son Solomon. He also set the temple workers (levites in order). His instruction included the following
1 Chronicles 23:30 NLT
And each morning and evening they stood before the Lord to sing songs of thanks and praise to him.
David established a daily routine of thanksgiving.
David understood trials and tribulations. He had suffered many betrayals and tasted the bitterness of life. Yet after all this here is what he knew was necessary in life always everyday all the time. Giving God Thanks!
Psalm 100:1 NLT
Shout with joy to the Lord, all the earth!
Psalm 100:2 NLT
Worship the Lord with gladness. Come before him, singing with joy.
Psalm 100:3 NLT
Acknowledge that the Lord is God! He made us, and we are his. We are his people, the sheep of his pasture.
Psalm 100:4 NLT
Enter his gates with thanksgiving; go into his courts with praise. Give thanks to him and praise his name.
Psalm 100:5 NLT
For the Lord is good. His unfailing love continues forever, and his faithfulness continues to each generation.
Philippians 4:6 NLT
Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done.
Colossians 4:2 NLT
Devote yourselves to prayer with an alert mind and a thankful heart.
1 Chronicles 16:8 NLT
Give thanks to the Lord and proclaim his greatness. Let the whole world know what he has done.
Colossians 3:17 NLT
And whatever you do or say, do it as a representative of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks through him to God the Father.

I am thankful for today, thankful for yesterday and for tomorrow! Thankful to know where I will spend all of eternity! thankful for this life and thankful that those who love Jesus and are no longer with us are with Him.
No matter what is wrong or right I am thankful today! Bless you Jesus for all that you have given to and been to me!
Gratitude has an enemy - Greed!
Greed is dishonest gain. It is not truth but made up!
God has given us real true blessing that we can be thankful for
Greed places us in line with lust, covetousness. Desiring what is not ours and creating strife in our hearts and causing terrible pain.
Gratitude
Doesn't care what people think! Only cares about what God thinks!
Gratitude remembers - speaks the truth -
Greed has two facets-
Pride - I deserve it! - increases value - compare ourselves with others
(Poverty) - Shame , I shouldn't have this - decreases value - compare others with ourselves
guilt and condemnation are not from God!
We should compare ourselves with God and God with us - the result will be worship!
